My two year old son absolutely adores this book! We first checked it out at the library and knew that it was one we'd have to buy after he started quoting it ("Uptown, downtown people know...Red light stop, green light go!"). It is a very fun book for parents to read (I never get tired of it, thank goodness) and is one of my son's all time favorite books. The pictures are bright and clever and we have fun seeing how the little boy in the book sets up his play area. I honestly can't say enough about how much we love this book in our house.

The little boy in this book is really into transportation. He sets up his on little traffic world with cars, trucks and planes. He makes the scenes from household objects such as books, shoe boxes and lots more. He uses his imagination to set up a busy town in his own home.

The little boy in the book was full of ideas. I liked seeing what he would come up with to play with next!


I would recommend this to kids ages 2-5. This age group seems love books about all things that GO!

For little boys, and girls of course, this well illustrated and versed story takes us on a journey through traffic and transport. The prose is simple and rhymes so the kids can relate to it and the parents are able to add their extra bit or allow the kids to be taken away by their imagination. A new favourite in our household!

I'll be honest: I'm not sure what it is about this book that he loves so much, but this book entertains my two year old SO much. Bright colors and shows Boy playing imaginatively with his vehicles (and other toys).
