TLC: Slow and Sexy, November 15, 2002
This review is from: Red Light Special (Audio CD)
"Red Light Special" happens to be one of the best singles to come from TLC's legendary sophomore effort, "CrazySexyCool." Using suave vocals and an R&B tempo, T-Boz, Chili, and Left Eye totally are able to express the power of female sexuality in one of the best songs to come out of the decade known as the 1990s.
Doing a major 360 turn from their debut album, TLC proved that they were here to stay and this single as well as other memorable songs such as "Creep" and "Waterfalls" made "CrazySexyCool" one of the best-selling albums of the 1990s.
"Red Light Special" is a great single not only to listen to, but also to reminisce on a great decade and a great group. Long live TLC!
