3.0 out of 5 stars Cable Winding Issues November 20, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase
The lift works ok, but when raising up the panel the lift cable would roll up on top of itself on the drum. Then all of the sudden the cable slips off the cable below. The excess cable slack then makes the panel "jump" down like it is going to fall.

2.0 out of 5 stars usability and quality August 17, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase
For the money spent to rent a drywall jack it is okay but it clearly not of the same quality you get when renting a jack from one of the big box stores. It does not assemble or disassemble easily and one of the wheels on mine will not stay on when picking it up. When I get done with my remodel I will try to sell it. Clearly not "Professional" as advertized. Also the print in the manual is so small it requires a magnifying glass to read and the packaging is marginal. Made in China by the lowest bidder. It will pay for itself by the time I am done remodeling over the cost of renting one everytime I need to install my sheetrock.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great lift. December 24, 2008
About the cheapest I could find. Shipping was costly. Works great. Used it on my 9' cellings with no problems. Great when working by yourself. Works to put sheetrock on the walls too. Seems to be well built.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Happy with the Drywall lift. December 15, 2008
I paid $90 plus $110 shipping for this. $200 total. I'm using it to put sheetrock in a 9' basement and it works great. Seems to be built very well for a made in china tool. One of the plastic end caps was cracked when I got it, but I just taped it back on and it works great. As good or better than anything I've rented. Another site that sells it, had about 100 reviews with only two negitive ones. Very good value for the money. I would highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars great back saver August 10, 2008
By Griff
After years of using my arms and back to hold up sheetrock, never again will i do that again. The red line drywall lift is a heavy duty lift that works perfectly, a must have, for even one ceiling.

5.0 out of 5 stars Red Line Hoist...The great helper . June 30, 2008
This was a great investment. Easily brings 12 foot 5/8 fire rock up 11 feet tight to the ceiling. The box it arrived in was a little scary but all the contents where there and it was in great condition. This is a solid item and well worth the money even if your going to use it for one job.

5.0 out of 5 stars cant beat it June 13, 2013

Really nice lift for the money. I do small remodel projects and this lift works great. I have used it on several ceiling jobs and have used it to hang upper wall sheets. I used it on 12 foot panels. The best thing about this lift is that it shows up on time and it never complains about holding the panels too long.

Surprised by the excellent quality of this drywall lift. Very easy to put together. Very easy to use. I installed 5/8" X 48" X 12' drywall by myself using this lift.
