What an amazing piece of work - I ve read it several times and am still looking forward to read it again. It is not for the light minded and for the superficial as it can easily cause doubts and a negative mind, but as Eliphas Levi said : ' ... only for the developed mind;;;' Especially suitable for those who have lost someone special, especially parents who have lost a child and to everyone who wants to proceed in the realms of Hermetic Philosophy.

Got it from a recommendation, and it was worth it! It is also one of these books that contains messages for improvement of your personal life... Really happy with that! Buy it!!!!

One of the most potent novels i have ever read. For me it ranks right up there with Hermann Hesse and Aldous Huxley, both geniuses at imparting spiritual law in the form of fiction. A rare and magnificent work, which i shall recommend to all my seeker friends.

The best book about the Philosopher Stone, of course is not about how to make, but teaches you many things about the spiritual path one take on the journey to make it.

If you are looking for good perspective on the incarnation of your soul this book is a definate must have. It is written in a story format that is easy to process and visualize. The author does excellent work providing the basic structure of initiation without being too specific or dogmatic. I gave "The Red Lion" 5 stars because it balances perfectly, on the fine line between an illustration and an introduction.
