I just finished RED LOTUS, and I look forward to the rest of the journey. Not only did I enjoy the writing and the narrative voice and details, I simply enjoyed holding the little book in hand. I like the size and feel of the book itself, which brought me back to my love of little poetry chapbooks when they were more abundant. It is a large story in a little book, and the size of the book adds to conveying the personal investment of (the author) into every aspect of its form. --Steven Jay Weinberg, English instructor, Seattle Arts Institute
Instantly absorbed in your 1904 tale. Looking forward to reading more. --Janet Fitch, author of White Oleander, an Oprah Book Club selection.
