Product Description

This caviar originated from Iceland and became popular due to its veracity. This inexpensive product is often used as a means of garnishing gourmet platters. Lumpfish and Capelin caviars are available in red or black. The roe of Lumpfish is the larger of the two. Size: Small fine grained eggs. Color: Red. Appearance: Glossy. Flavor: firm, crunchy texture with a pronounced salty fish flavor. Storage: Dry. Shelf Lif: 2 years, does not require refrigeration. Ingredients: Lumpfish Roe, salt, stabilizers, spices, citric acid, artificial colors: red#40, yellow#6, blue#1, 0.1% Sodium Benzoate.

If you like tortuously salty food then this is for you.
This is so salty that I have to eat alot of very bland food with it in order to stomach one tablespoon at a time.

I bought this from Markey's before.It was shipped quickly and is an excellent price. I makes a very easy spread w/ caviar and cream cheese. You spread it on toast rounds and folks really love it.
The price is great and makes a nice "special" treat affordable.
If you enjoy caviar this is a good company and a good deal.
