I love that not only do I have the paperback but also this graphic novel version! I had no idea that there was one till I found it here! Fantastic!

Comics vs. Books
I've always been an avid reader and as a kid read a LOT of comics. I've read the entire Alvin Maker series by Card several times and enjoyed it immensely. But, I didn't particularly enjoy the comic. Too simplistic. And, my own imagination does a better job with the scenery and characters than an artist can.
