A great remix album, December 6, 2008

I don't usually buy remix albums. After all, why would you want the same song multiple times with only slight variations between them? Funker Vogt's 'Red Queen' is not only a remix album of a great song, but the remixes themselves are different enough to warrant them being almost completely different songs instead of mere remixes. The album is also the only place you'll find 'Chessman's Square', a nice, upbeat, mostly instrumental synthbeat song which, if you enjoy Funker Vogt, you'll enjoy too.
Of course, make sure you like 'Red Queen' before buying this album. But if you appreciate the song, you'll also appreciate the widely varied takes on it that are featured in this album.
