a great end to a great series, July 12, 2006
This review is from: Red Is for Remembrance (Stolarz Series) (Paperback)
Okay so Stacy is dreaming again, only this time no bodily fluids (anyone else disappointed?). In her dream a girl is telling her to help or "he will die." Convinced this will bring her to Jacob, she agrees to help the president at her school whose daughter is having nightmares and is on the brink of being institutionalized.
At the same time a guy named Shell is at a campground in the middle of nowhere with no memory of his past or anything other than the camp. The camp works much like a cult, the leader is all powerful, they are shut out of the outside world and forced to "love" other members. He knows there's something else out there, or should I say someONE else, but he just cant remember.
All of our favorite charactors are back: Amber, Drea, PJ, and Chad, along with some fun new charactors, my favorite being Janie the Christian roomate who is against witchcraft but not sex outside of marriage.

I hope its not the end, August 18, 2005
This review is from: Red Is for Remembrance (Stolarz Series) (Paperback)
This book really wraps up the series. I really hope she writes another one, though from the feeling at the end she won't. What to write, well, Stacey goes off to college with a full scholarship. This time her dreams aren't as alarming. This time she wants to have dreams so to dream about Jacob. She really is lost without him.
Then there is another character, Shell, who has another story. He has amnesia and cant remember anything. The only clear thing about him is that he is sure someone is looking for him, he can feel it. But he doesn't know who she is. It is clear though, from his dreams, that she is his partner.
Stacey finds someone else who is also having nightmares and she thinks they are about Jacob dying. Everyone tells her just to let go, to forget, to move one. But all she wants to do is remember. She turns out to be very wrong about Jacob dying (again). The girl's dreams are about someone else. Stacey gets so caught up in finding out about Jacob, if he's alive, that she forgets the most important thing is to help someone else. For awhile she becomes selfish. Then she realizes what she has to do. The climax has you holding your breath, and at the end you can't help feeling sorry for Stacey. But the epilouge makes you feel hopeful. I hope to god she writes another book in this series. It just doesn't feel finished yet.

good book, but not as good as the others, August 2, 2005
This review is from: Red Is for Remembrance (Stolarz Series) (Paperback)
red is for remembrance was over all a good book. not as good as some of the other books in the series, but still pretty good. the begining kind of dragged a bit, since all Stacy seemed to be doing was sleeping and crying over Jacob. though in the middle it picked up. i also liked how the book had a chapter that was in Stacy's point of view, then in a dude called shell's. who you will come to figure out who he is later.
i recomend buying this book if you've read the others, since it answers some questions.
