red hot rhythm method,

I have been having a ball with this book. It is from quite a few a years ago, and therefore the songs covered are only those from the earliest albums. That said, anything done later might have had Naked in the Rain and My Lovely Man dropped from the line up (and that would be a shame). It would have been great if there was a video DVD too, but that would be a bonus and not absolutely critical to the effectiveness of this book.
The book has very clear notation, and the CD gives many examples with a) the drum track way in front, and b)the song, minus one (the kit). If you are a drummer and dig Chad / RHCP, then this book is a must. If you would just like to learn some great funk rock drumming, then go no further. |
