This review is from: Red Sea CO2 Indicator (Misc.)
This co2 indicator is essentially worthless without a calibrated solution. Even so, I took the trouble to calibrate my own solution and it was still poor at indicating accurate co2 levels. I've learned my lesson and will now rely on what experts have long recommended, that is to just focus on the number of co2 bubbles (using bubble counter) and watch how the fish react. For my 30 gallon planted aquarium it was 2-3 bubbles per second that gave my the ideal co2 concentration without stressing the fish too much. A 50 gallon would be more like 4-7 bubbles/second. If you see fish at surface gasping for 02 then you need to back off the bubble rate. Over time you will know the best rate.
