Skeletal look at Red's career, November 8, 2009
This review is from: Red Skelton: A Career in Laughter [VHS] (VHS Tape)
VIDEO TREASURES, issuer of RED SKELTON: A CAREER IN LAUGHTER, is probably related to the GOODTIMES company. This LP speed non-HiFi tape is hampered by many blurry film clips and a majority of segments that are far too short.
Narrator Mike Eagen is pleasant enough as he moves quickly through Red's cinematic and TV careers. He doesn't mention personal stuff like Skelton's drinking problem and temper, the death of his 12-year-old son and wife's later suicide.
