About the Author

Michael Avon Oeming, an award-winning writer, artist and creator, Michael Avon Oeming is perhaps best known for his work as artist and co-creator of the award-winning Powers (with Brian Michael Bendis) series. A well known fan of ancient mythology, Oeming has written or drawn several projects centering on the Norse gods, inclduing Thor for Marvel comics, and crafts new mythologies every month in the pages of Red Sonja for Dynamite Entertainment. A frequent collaborator with long-time friend Bryan Glass, the two are currently working on a new comics project--the Mice Templar.
