Prelude: Red Sonja returns to her native Hyrkania only to find its citizens being massacred by the serpent king Thulsa Doom. The rest of the story(from Red Sonja vs. Thulsa Doom 1-4 series) revolves around Red Sonja's need for vengeance and Thulsa Doom's quest for power to destroy all human kingdoms.
The artwork is done by Will Conrad, which is impressive from the close-ups of the characters faces to the battle scenes. Expect alot bloodshed and some partial nudity with this book. Like many Red Sonja books, it contains a cover gallery which is always a good thing. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to Red Sonja fans. |
