5.0 out of 5 stars Great interactive book
My 4 year old son loves this book. He has some speech delays and this book really got him talking! The interactive aspect of it is great. On one page the dogs jump off the board and goes under "water" which is like blue cellophane. So the white dog turns blue under water, the pink one turns purple, etc. The hat theme from the "Go, Dog, Go" book is also cute. There...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, *BUT*...
I like the *idea* of this book, but ...

1. The original is tremendously better. REALLY!
2. My 4 1/2 year old is neither overly careful or careless, but this book did not survive the month. The action was difficult for me to smoothly effect; sometimes I had to delicately force it. So, when he tried it... "oops" often occurred. (This goes for the...

There is a page where you turn the wheel and the dog's hat changes color. This book would help teach colors. Great book!

My 2y-8m old daughter simply adores this book, and we have great fun reading it together. It has been lovingly read to pieces, and it's time for a new one. This book is, hands down, one of her top-notch favorites! When I read to my daughter, I become quite animated; well, this book, by it's very design, invites us to be as silly as we can, because we are in for a jolly good time!
I highly recommend this one!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and sturdy, November 9, 2006
This review is from: Red, Stop! Green, Go!: An Interactive Book of Colors (Bright & Early Playtime Books) (Hardcover)
My 2-year-old loves this book. She is able to manipulate all the moving parts without ripping them out of the book. As a big 'Go Dog Go' fan, she also enjoys seeing the familiar characters and being able to make the dogs drive around in cars and jump in the water.

HTH, but I see this only working for the older child with more refined fine motor skills, but then the book content might be mis-targeted.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another fun book, April 12, 2011

My toddler goes bananas over Go Dog Go, so when I saw this, I knew I had to get it. Even how cute and fun it is, you need to be preemptive and secure all flaps and such with clear book tape, even the whole entire dog party tree on the last page, tape it up it one big chunk and tape it down to the page- so it still pops up when open, but can't be torn off (I have seen this book destroyed in 2nd hand stores, and its not pretty!). It will last much much longer. You can't really do that with the spinning wheel, but that has held up surprisingly well for the last couple months of constant turning. A great companion book to the original Go Dog Go, I highly recommend it!

4.0 out of 5 stars If you love Go, Dog Go, a good companion, August 18, 2010
This review is from: Red, Stop! Green, Go!: An Interactive Book of Colors (Bright & Early Playtime Books) (Hardcover)
Our kids love Go Dog, Go, so this spinoff is very popular in our house too. We actually reserve it for airplane trips, because all of the flaps to open and wheels to turn are good for keeping preschoolers amused.

My son loves this book! He was 2 1/2 when he got it (Go Dog Go was his favorite but had to be thrown away) and is now 3 and still reads it almost evey day. It is interactive, sturdy, colorful and fun to read & use. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mom of 2-year old, January 2, 2008
This review is from: Red, Stop! Green, Go!: An Interactive Book of Colors (Bright & Early Playtime Books) (Hardcover)
My son loves "Go Dog, Go". We purchased "Red, Stop! Green, Go!" book for a plane ride, and it gave us 30 minutes of great entertainment. He loves the book, and the interactive wheels are just the right size for 2-year old. Excellent compliment to the book "Go Dog, Go".
