5.0 out of 5 stars Happy Kabbalist
I bought two packages of red kabbalah string used for making bracelets from this vendor and was VERY happy with the entire transaction! The string arrived quickly, in excellent condition, as advertised, with a nice note from sender. I will definitely use them again and can happily recommend them to you!

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, August 30, 2010
This review is from: Red String Kabbalah Bracelet Kit
I bought this item as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. The one real positive is that I recieved it in the mail very quickly - I believe two days after I ordered it. The packaging of the bracelet is very nice, and I was excited about it. Once my boyfriend and I had the bracelet on, I already noticed that despite tying the knots tightly, the fabric was loosing up quite a bit. It was even worse in the shower, as I had to continue re-tightening the knot. My boyfriends bracelet came off the same day he put it on, and all he was doing was putting on his jacket! Mine came off later the same night as I was clapping my hands. The string, while seemingly fine is way too slick or something. It is really unfortunate that the manufacturers would continue selling this product. We wanted this as a symbol of protection, etc., and I paid for something that now is worthless and a waste of a bday present. He was very disappointed as was I! I think I definitely should get reimbursed (esp. because it says $3.99 on the package and I paid more, included shipping). Really wrong to see a defective product, especially one that stands for something. Now instead of wearing it, it's either in the trash or in the bottom of a drawer. Big disappointment!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars great red string bracelet, June 11, 2010
This review is from: Red String Kabbalah Bracelet Kit
i ordered this red string a couple of days ago and it came to my door fast couple days later. it's a great red string bracelet, but i wish it was in cotton. the downside is that the smooth nylon one just keeps falling off sometimes whenever i tried to put it on, which makes me feel a little uncomfortable about it. but overall, it's a great and fun string to put on your wrist. i don't practice praying kabbalah with this bracelet on, but i wear it as an everyday life bracelet, which is great too. i am now wearing it around my wrist, so i enjoy wearing it.

The package arrived very promptly, that was nice. My son and I put the bracelets on each other and tied the 7 knots tightly. Before going to bed, I noticed the top knot was starting to loosen so I tightened it again. In the morning, both of our bracelets had fallen off. My son didn't find his it probably fell behind the bed, I found mine and half of the string was frayed. I think the string is just too slippery to stay tied, even when you really try to make it tight. I don't know what could have made it stay better, super glue the end knot or something, but glue doesn't work on fabric. It was a waste of $10.
