5.0 out of 5 stars Great boots!
Received my new boots in a short time. Took them out of the box. Put them on and cut down nine dead trees. Incurred no injuries and my feet feel good. They are easy to put on and take off. Tested them in wet pastures and they are as advertised: my feet did not get wet. I love these boots! Haven't tried the steel toes as yet, but will let you know when I do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Boot!, February 26, 2010

I bought this boot about 6 months ago and have worn it everyday since. I typically wear a size 10 but ordered 9.5 and it fit great. Even though they are quite comfortable before they are broken in, once they are broken in they are more comfortable than sneakers. Great for snow or work boots or even everyday shoes. I love these boots and look forward towards continued use!

Edit: had these boots for over a year now and still goin strong. The absolute only thing I do not like about them is that they are not made in the USA; however their quality still seems to be very high

This review is from: WORX by Red Wing Shoes Men's 9" Pull-On Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boot (Apparel)
I took the boots out of the box and they felt comfortable from the get go. I have been wearing them in snow, ice and water and they have not leaked. It has been quite a lot of snow lately too. There is some water staining on the boots, but I am in snow and water all day long. I am very happy with these boots.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Boots, November 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These are very well made boots. I work for a turkey slaughter factory, and I'm typically on my feet 10-12 hours a day. In the past, I've had work boots that just can't stand up to this. I'm a big guy, and it sucks when your feet hurt 3 hours in to a 10 hour day. In addition to this I am always surrounded by water (often up to six inches standing) guts, blood, turkey poop...the whole gambit. Apart from being comfortable, they also hold up quite well on the outside. I wont lie, they look like they've been used, but for being covered in blood and poo which will eat away at things, they look pretty good. I've had these for about six months and could see getting at least another six months out of them. A year is a good run for work boots. I've had alot, and a typical stretch is about 4-6 months. It's true what they say about boots being more comfortable once broken in, but once they start breaking down inside...forget about them. I'm holding off on 5 stars simply because I do get small leakage around the toes, and heel. Not signifigant enough to warrant a bad score, there is no saturation just a little wetness. I would highly reccomend these boots, and will get another pair in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these boots!, January 11, 2011

Not sure if the steel toe is needed b/c these boots are well made & one of the most comfortable I have ever had on. The steel toe does make me feel safe at work though. I love the extra added height in the heel. I wish I had these long ago!

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected, August 8, 2011

I took a chance and bought the boots without having tried them on. Heed the suggestion to buy them 1/2 size smaller than you wear. In addition, I bought the wide version. I wore them for a week straight and they were very comfortable. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars red wing work boots, February 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
RED WING WORK BOOTS ARE THE ONLY WORK BOOTS THAT I WEAR. THEY ARE COMFORTABLE FROM THE TIME YOU FIRST PUT THEM ON UNTIL THEY ARE WORN DOWN(I GET ABOUT 4-5 YEARS OUT OF THEM). THEY ARE VERY DURABLE. GREAT BOOT ON ALL SURFACES INCLUDING CONCRETE. DON'T BUY CRAP MADE IN CHINA, TAKE CARE OF YOUR FEET WITH RED WING BOOTS.

I bought these boots for my husband who works in the oil field. He normally goes through 3 to 4 pair of boots such as Justins or Wolverine. These boots lasted him a year and are still in usable shape. I will never buy anything but Red Wings in the future.
