I usually don't write reviews on Amazon (or anywhere really) but the fact that this album only had one review (and a negative review at that) inspired me to change my ways. D'espairsRay's sound has indeed changed to a slightly more poppy/upbeat sound, but I believe that it is necessary for a band's sound to develop and change as they progress. Some of the songs on this album are dark and reminiscent of the bands older material (such as Lizard, Redeemer, and Masquerade) and some of the songs are lighter and more bright (such as Kamikaze, Horizon, and Yozora). And then there is Paradox 5 which is a rater unique song for the band as it has a somewhat ambient and tribal feel to it. All in all, I would have to say that Redeemer is probably my least favorite of the bands three albums, but since [Coll:set] is my favorite album (ever) and Mirror is also amazing, the fact that I personally like this album slightly less doesn't really come as a surprise. If you are a D'espairsRay fan, or a jrock fan in general, I strongly recommend purchasing this album, as it is (in my opinion of course) amazing. And the price is nice and cheep ^_^

I really like this cd its one of my favorites. I like all of the songs on here. I think this is a pretty good D'espairsRay cd.

All I can say about the CD is wow!! this band is awesome I still have this CD in my player, Hizumi the lead singer has an awesome voice and also has to be my favorite band member. Glad I got it and when they release their new CD I will be buying that one too.
