Vomitory is the only good Old-School Death Metal band left. They bring their music to new levels of brutality which do not come on the expense of quality! this is a wonderful album, a must have for any Death Metal fan!

Absolutely KILLER late 90's D E A T H, September 1, 2008

Around this time (1999) DeathMetal was still perceived to be dead, but trust me albums like this proved otherwise with ease!
It's a heavier more Scandinavian spiced Harmony Corruption era Napalm Death type of DeathMetal. The riffs and guitar sound are concrete heavy, the vocals are HUGE, there are hooks and total HEADBANGER moments. REALLY strong record, easily their catchiest and probably their most bombastic.
The last two songs are a one-two death punch, A classic cover of GOD MACABRE and the vertebrae pulverizing Partly Dead !!!!!
Totally get this if you're in the mood for heavy-as-all-hell DEATHMETAL with no weak moments, total "UUUGH"!!!
Loads of fun!!!

GOOD METAL CD, April 21, 2006

Those guys play fast death metal. Good music! Guitars have some nice licks and riffs are fast and brutal, yet catchy and not without melody.
But they keep it inside brutal death metal genre.
If you like Nile, Cannibal Corpse, Sinister etc...
Get it!

Vomitory is pure brutal death metal.If you like it fast and crazy this is the alblum.though i like the new vomitory better this is still a great alblum.Vomitory is a sweden band and all the sweden bands i have herd tear it up.so if your a death metal fan you need to buy this alblum.
