These temporary shades are pretty good! They were easy to cut with a utility knife and easy to stick up to my oddly shaped moldings around my windows (new windows, old decor. YIKES). Also, if you're savvy with the widths, you can cut 2 smaller windows out of these 48" shades. I was able to cover 8 windows with the 6 shades in the box. Woot!

As for the adhesive staying, I cleaned each surface before affixing the shades. We'll see how long they stay put. I know these are temporary shades, but I'm hoping they'll last a year or so. I'm so sick of thinking about window treatments!

These are crazy easy to install. I just moved into a house with tons of windows and did not want to force myself into purchasing window treatments quickly. These shades provide privacy and a little bit of insulation too. If you plan to raise and lower these often, however, since they are paper they may be a pain.

We moved into our new house and ordered a bunch of levolor blinds online. The problem was that they wouldn't be in a for a few days after we moved in. In the meantime, I ordered these because they are cheap and would cover the windows.

I was surprised at how well they did the job, and I actually liked them!!! For a room off to the side, these would be perfect. I don't think I would hang them in the living room, but for elsewhere, they are fine.

After I hung the blinds we ordered (levolors), I took these down and moved them to other windows. They moved fairly well, but the top part kind of ripped a little on some of them. I'm sure these aren't made to be moved, and at hte price, seem pretty disposable. It's just temporary for now, and even when moved, they do a good job and look great!

Worked great! Looked better than sheets and it was so easy to put up!!! AND so affordable!

I bought these as a temporary solution to last a few months last year and they are still up. Once they are up, they work so perfectly that there isn't a reason to replace them. They work great in tough to fit areas. We have slanted windows and there aren't any ready made alternatives and I didn't want to have anything custom made because of the cost. The Redi Made shades look great on my windows with a slanted tops. :-)

These shades are great for any window. They look good from outside and they are simple to put up and cut to size

The written description of these shades states that they are 48"x72". I bought a box of 6 and they are nowhere near 72 inches long unless. On some you might be able to measure them at 72" if you were to pull them completely straight. However, as they are PLEATED shades I expected they'd be 72" with the pleats. Furthermore, they are not uniform in length -- some of the shades are a good 4"-5" shorter than the others even when they are all extended to their full length. Only the longest of the shades completely cover the 5'5" windows I put them on. Obviously these are not expensive shades, but how hard can it be to cut the same length of paper each time?

Other than that, they were easy to cut and install. If you have 4' windows, you'll be fine, but don't get them thinking they'll work on the longer ones.

Very convenient shade. Easy to cut and use when temporary shades are needed. Hard to keep them clipped up to let the light in, but they're really not made for long term use.

We used these temporary blinds for our apartment. My husband and I put them up in a few minutes- and cut them to size with a scissors. You definitely do not need the blinds cutter...only problem-- when we removed the blinds some paint came off the wall from the adhesive from the blinds. I would give the blinds 4 stars.

They came they went up and are still up.
Does just what they said it would do.
But there was no cutting tool and there were no clips.
The clip part is what sucked untill I got something to use.
Would I but them again? Maybe.
