This is a very good value. Jacket fits well, plenty of room for moving around and casting without any discomfort. Haven't experienced it in any rain yet so I can't speak to the degree of waterproof. Would highly recommend.

I like this wading jacket, it is very comfortable and has lots of cool pockets and functions that are great for fly fishing. It does ride a little high in the back like a previous customer noted. I actually like this, as it allows me an extra inch or 2 when i'm wading without getting my jacket in the water. The interior of the jacket is comfortable and has a thin mesh lining. The hood has a built in bill that works really well. This is a very functional wading jacket.

I would have given this 5 stars with out thinking twice, but the right hand warmer pocket zipper, zipped right off the first time I used it. I was able to replace the zipper with another ykk zipper of the same size from an old zip up hooded sweater, and it is working fine now.

Also one of the velcro patches on the left fly box pocket came off, that's ok though there are 2 more on that pocket.

11/29/11 This wading jacket doesn't keep you very dry for very long. It works just fine when it's not raining very hard, or if it only rains for a couple minutes at a time. If you are in the rain for more then 45-50 minutes, your arms and shoulders will be wet, and the clothing under them as well. When I first got the jacket it did not have these problems. I was hoping for $100 that this jacket would last a little longer. I would recommend the frogg toggs pilot guide jacket instead, it's the same price and is truly 100% waterproof

This jacket is typical of what i love about Reddington products. For a very competitive price Reddington delivers high quality fly fishing accessories, rods and reels. I have been using this jacket in the wet Oregon weather and haven't regretted my purchase at all. I currently own Reddington waders to match this jacket that are just as good and my first fly rod was a Reddington Red.fly2 6wt that still gets used very frequently. Reddington makes great stuff, pure and simple.
