Wow! A "sit up and take notice, and turn up the volume" album. If you like Louis or Bix, this is a must for your collection. Randy recreates the whole feel of the music, and he has done it with some of the best musicians on the jazz scene today. If there are two better clarinetists out there than Peplowski and Davern, I'd like to know about it; the juxtaposition of their two styles here is simply delicious. Run, don't walk, to pick this up.
