Church is not a building! Come as you are -you can wear jeans to this church! Our church cares about relationships! We are not like those people, that church, etc. I am seeking His presence! I am part of the house church movement! I don't like religion, but I am spiritual! The traditional church is so not happening! I keep coming here, but I don't experience His presence. I like (or don't like) the worship music at this church! I have been coming here for three months (three years) and still no one has had a meaningful conversation with me -- all I get are fake smiles!

These and other phrases are on the lips of most Christians these days. Leadership keeps trying to "do church" and has been for some 2000 years! The only problem is -- it's God's Church, not ours. Jesus said, "I will build My church." We haven't seen many of those (built by Jesus Christ)! Otherwise, the problem of MOST pastors and churches would not be "how many came this Sunday" - but would be "they keep coming to be set free, to get healed, to receive the beauty of the Lord for the ashes of their lives -- we don't have enough space, we need more disciples to minister to everyone!

Well, if you have the courage to move past your particular theological position and see what the Bible says about "doing church" -- then you must READ, STUDY and APPLY -- what Derek Prince writes in this book.

Pastors won't like this book much - at least those who are building their own kingdom. Evangelical folk will like some of it and dismiss most of it. Charismatics will like it (the Apostle, Prophet aspect) -- opps -- by saying that I just lost most of the "evangelicals!"

I have always wondered why "Christianity" has not taken over the world. Afterall, it's been a few thousand years! My life was a wreck before I came to the Lord. His grace and forgiveness is real. After reading this book, I now have the answer that I have been searching for. The church (shall I say "institutional church") has never become the church that God intended and could use for His glory. AND we (shall I say individual followers of Jesus Christ) have not become the true disciples He needs to take the Gospel message to the lost and hungry souls of the world.

After reading this book, you will know who you are and what you are supposed to do with what you now have as a Christian. No more excuses! It's all here between the covers! I am working right now with a Pastor to implement the principals in this book into their local church. He has made new "business cards" -- taken off his church title and just put "servant of the Lord." He has had to turn away a well-know "evangelist/apostle" (that would make his church very popular) because that person did not want to be tied to a "local church."

These are things that this book will do. Read, study and apply and watch God begin working in your life and the lives of everyone around you! It's what you've been waiting for!

Derek Prinice's book was compiled over the last 20 years of his life. It was published after his death, but the book is all his. Extremely relevant to the season our nation is entering.
