With Redken Electric Wax 11, I can style my hair like my stylist. I had tried other products, even other Redken products, but none gave me the hold that Electric Wax gives.

This is one of the best hair waxes I've used. I love this product --it creates texture, holds your hair in place and looks great.

This is the best stuff for holding hair in place and fly aways. It's great for the winter too when static is a problem.

I'm pretty disappointed that this is no longer being made by Redken as it is the only "styling product" that I have actually found to work. A dab spread across my fingers worked into we hair disappears nearly entirely. When it dries and I brush my hair out, I cannot tell its even there, yet my hair manages to stay generally where I want it to be. I'd say it gives me the appearance that I'm not using anything in my hair at all, which is nice. The hold though is surprisingly strong!

I've tried other Redken products thinking I'd get similar results but that investigation failed miserably. I have found nothing even remotely comparable that will suit my expectations and needs. I'm glad I stocked up when I did. Gel is too crusty, other products leave behind grit or unnecessary odors, and others flat-out don't work.

A word of caution: I went on vacation and left the AC off and my place got up in the 80s. When I got home, the wax settled and changed its consistency with all of the heavier solids sinking to the bottom leavening me with a runnier product to deal with that really didn't work quite as well. You may want to keep this in mind if you're thinking about purchasing this product.
