The scale is nice and works well and is easy to read. The only thing I would change is the perch that comes with it. The perch is nice by itself but when you try and sit it on the scale to wieght your birds it slips off before you even get them on it. We had to put a towel on it first to keep the perch from slipping off onto the floor. Birds do not like to perch on things that will slide out from under them.

This is a multi-size perch in the same box as a nice scale, but it works well when the bird doesn't knock the perch off of the scale. It would be better if the perch could be attached to the scale. It uses a (reasonably priced) 9v battery.
