This is my experiences using Redmond clay. I began using Redmond clay hesitantly around 2001. I use it all the time now. It is so versatile in its uses; digestive aid, detoxifier, wounds, beauty, etc. One of my favorite uses is facials. I use to have adult acne a lot. I would mix Redmond clay with olive oil, honey, essential oils and/or seaweed. And let it set on my face for 20+ minutes. The olive oil kept the clay moist. (When mixed with only clay and water it would dry my skin out and make it itch.) When I would use it every night for a week, my skin tone improved, acne diminished, my dark circles under my eyes faded, and the smaller wrinkles did not seem as noticeable. I would use Redmond clay just because of how it feels on my face. It is like a little bit of heaven.

Using it for wounds has greatly helped my cats and I. My first example is I am allergic to a common house spider where I live and every year it and I have to meet for some dumb reason. I get really lethargic and weak. The more I touch the bite the more it spreads and the sicker I get. I found out that Redmond clay can pull out poisons. As soon as I would get the bite I would mix lavender and Redmond clay together and put a bandage over it. As the lavender dried I would add another drop to keep it wet. The clay would pull the venom to a head and I found that I was not stuck in bed for a week or so.

One time I was bite by a stray cat at night, and 6 hours later my hand was swelling up fast. The following morning the doctor told me if we did not get the swelling down fast, I would have to go into surgery soon. I applied Redmond clay onto the bite and was amazed how fast the infection was pulled to the surface of my skin.

My cat was bit (probably by the same stray).

I bought this to make my own toothpaste and it works well for what I bought it for. Doesn't have a scent either, if anyone is ever curious about that. Very nice.

I purchased this product to use internally. My intention was to use it as a natural cleansing and detoxing product. I have been taking approximately one tablespoon everynight before bed. It has been several weeks now and the results have been noticeable. I sleep much better now, my digestion has greatly improved and I have a new sense of peace or overrall calmness. I highly recommend this product.

I tried this Clay at the advice of my wife. I have psoriasis, and developed new patches on my shins, a really bad place to get a patch started. I put it on for 3 days, and it literally almost completely made the patch disappear. I also tried it on an ingrown hair, which usually takes 4-5 days to go away, TWO days!!

I use Redmond Clay to make the best and healthiest toothpaste you can use. Clay is wonderful for drawing out toxins so it makes a naturally good treatment for teeth and gums. Earthpaste is sold in health food stores for about $10.00 a tube. This jar of Redmond's will make at least a year's supply, if not more, depending on how many sets of teeth your family has. Most recipes call for sterilized water but I use Toms mouthwash. It adds the taste and already has healthy ingredients for your mouth. Start with two parts clay to one part baking soda for a good scrub. If you have sensitive teeth and gums, just use clay alone. add the mouthwash to make a paste and then the oil and salt. You want a smooth, creamy paste, not too thick. I then add extra peppermint oil and a pinch of salt. after it's all combine, add a few drops of good quality glycerin to bind it all together. Adjust the taste as you like and enjoy your beautiful smile. It's good stuff.
*Of course, you can change the flavors around to make whatever you like.

A year ago I came down with a really bad case of Rosacea. After a lot of failed treatments I gratefully stumbled across my cure, CLAY! I drink 1 T in purified water a day and I have literally transformed my skin from red, hot, rashy and pimpled to completely clear! This clay mixes quickly and smoothly and has a more pleasant taste than others I've tried!

I have been using the Redmond Clay for soaking my muscles. After 30 minutes, I don't even feel tired... my body bounces back for more working with the horses :-)

Let me just say that I have tried a number of clays, and Redmond Clay, and Living Clay are my favorites. I pretty much have a 1/4 tsp in all the glasses of water I drink throughout the day. I do not know if Redmond Clay is more 'energetic' or what, but I find that if I take it in the evening, after 7pm, it will keep me up at night (I am very sensitive to caffeine as well.) So Redmond in the morning, LC in the evening and a mix throughout the day.

I generally try to eat healthy and so haven't had any amazing stories regarding weight loss or reduction of some problem, but it is probable I can credit the fact I never get sick to the clay. However once when my mom visited me she came down with what seemed to be some super fast acting food poison. I watched her go from happy and conversing to pale and ill and barely able to stay sitting up in the space of half an hour. She could not stand or walk, she was barely able to crawl. I immediately insisted that she take some clay water, and though she didn't care for the taste and initially balked, within 10 minutes she started coming out of whatever it was. We still don't know what it was, but if she hadn't responded in those 10 minutes, the next step would've been to the emergency room. Within 15 minutes of drinking the clay the turnaround was amazing, she could stand and walk again and within an hour she was completely recovered. My mom is a nurse, and we don't mess around with stuff like that.

One external use, I had a small cyst on my chest that has been there months- it didn't bother me except cosmetically. It was like a hard pimple that wouldn't squeeze out ot be removed no matter what.
