Copy of what is already available on the web ...,

This review is from: Reduced Gradient Bubble Model in Depth (Hardcover)
-in the first place, it is not "in depth" what you will find in this small booklet, but superficial;- in the 2nd place, this material is already presented on the web elsewhere (and free of charge ..) - in the 3rd place, there are a couple of errors in the calculations and formulas. - As well it looks like a "cut & paste" product out of the other books from Bruce ... Bottom Line: it is not worth the money

BRW best work to date,
By
This review is from: Reduced Gradient Bubble Model in Depth (Hardcover)
Dr. W is a prolific writer, but he tends to boilerplate his textbooks so much than titles that bear his name are actually clones of themselves with often ultra minor modification in material. However, all the material massed in relation to developing his work in RGBM have morphed into this unique gem of a textbook. Better organized, succinct, and more updated, its the final evolution of various sections in his prior books, and gives a most detailed account of the algorithms of RGBM currently making the diving circuit.

good overview over theoretical background of deco theory and RGBM. Thorough yet brief. Can't comment on his other books as I only have this one - for now.

Great RGBM discourse on everything from dynamics to equationsto risk to field experience. Shows where modern decompression theory comes from and where headed. 5-Stars and a real great buy for the $ and info. |
