When I read this book I could not put it down!! Never ending action and adventure with Cluny the Scorge and his hoard of rats battling the Redwall Abbey. I read this book any time I had a chance. I think it has two great themes to it, never give up and nothing's impossible no matter how old you are!!

The book had a good story it just didn't do what most of Jaques' books do which is have one story at redwall and another about a group of warriors or travelers on their way to or from Redwall.

I have read all the books in this series from Mossflower to The long Patrol! I love this series! I am amazed at how Brian Jacques is able to write all the stories and poems. I also like The Great Redwall Feast.

This is one of my top five favorite books of all time. The world Jacques creates is astounding, and he never lets you leave. This book pushed me towards reading more years ago, and the continual storyline keeps it going for years to come.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! I've read evry single one of his books this is one of my favorits though.

Redwall was the first book I read in the Redwall series. Its pages are now worn and tattered because I continue to return to it countless times. I love reading about how the Abbey residents defeated Cluny and the courage quest that Matthias undertakes. The ending was sad but this book influenced me to read all of the others. Give congrats to Brian Jaques for captivating readers over the span of a decade.
