If you want the scoop on the northern calif railroad in Mendocino county, this is the book to get. It is a very inclusive book and very extremely interesting for any railroad enthusiast. It gets into the logging industry quite a bit, since that was the main reason for the beginning of the rail lines in this area. Lots of information here. Quite a few pictures too, but lots and lots of text.
