5.0 out of 5 stars roomy and sturdy step
I find the Reebok step to have a larger platform and is very sturdy as compared to The Step. The Step with it's removable risers slid around and the platform was small, so it became very difficult when doing larger movements. I felt like I was going to trip constantly with that one. However, the Reebok step is anything but. It stays in place, does not wobble and has...

3.0 out of 5 stars quality issue
The deck is very sturdy and great in every respect except, within 3 weeks of me buying it, the third level on one side started giving way. If i stepped on it, it just collapsed. I had bought it from Target but did not keep the receipt. I still did not anticipate a problem exchanging it. On contacting Reebok, they asked me to contact the manufacturer, Iconfitness, who then...

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value for the price, January 8, 2009

I also bought the Reebok Step Deck at a local Target store (thanks for the idea, CVK.) I am an intermediate stepper with a heavy foot and have had no issues with the stability or sturdiness of the product. Of course, I've only owned the step for two weeks, but so far, so good.

Two DVDs were included with the step: a toning DVD and a cardio DVD. The toning DVD has not seen the light of day yet. The cardio DVD has gotten more action. It contains two workouts: Beginner and Intermediate. Each workout has a warm-up and cool-down module. Although I have not timed the routines, I find them too short as an individual workout. I use the Beginner routine as a warm-up and jump to the 2nd combo of the Intermediate routine, following that through to the end. The instructor loses the beat a few times and also gives some miscues. But for what amounts to a "free" workout DVD, it will suffice until I can find something better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great step, April 19, 2008
This review is from: Reebok 5-Position Step Deck (Misc.)
I bought this step at the local Target and I just love it, it's a great value and I have had no problems with it so far. The dvd is also very good, easy to follow routine with no hard to follow steps, challenging enough, esp since you can adjust the height of the step when you get more advanced.
I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money for this step, I definitely don't need one of the high end studio quality steps that are on the market, so this one is just perfect for me.

I am still waiting to hear from somebody and it has already been nearly a month. The product would be great if it wasn't for the company not wanting to deal with a simple quality issue.

4.0 out of 5 stars Overall a good step, March 16, 2009

Bought this step at a local Target (mine is blue though, not orange like pictured). The 5 level idea for increasing the height of the step is great, and sturdier than loose blocks like some steps come with. I use it on carpet and it doesn't slip at all. I have been using it for about 3 months now and the rubber mat has held firmly in place on the top, the step feels very secure overall. The only reason that I give it 4 rather than 5 stars is that it could be longer across (like the steps at the gym). I find the V step impossible to do on this step because it's just not quite long enough, all other steps however are easily done on this step. That is a very minor complaint and overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love my stepper!, April 25, 2009

I've had my stepper for 3 weeks now and I just love it. I initially was going to get a bigger and more expensive one but after reading a lot of reviews I decided to try this one. So at half the cost of the other ones I looked at (and no shipping since I picked mine up at Target) I have a step bench that is easy to set up and put away since there are no extra pieces, one that easily stores under my bed and one that seems to me to be very sturdy.

Regarding the free dvd that came with it I find it fun and challenging. I'm not in super shape but I'm not in bad shape either and find the routines easy to follow and easy to tailor to my level (raising height of bench for beginner routine and lowering for intermediate). There are some mistakes in the routine but it doesn't bother me and doesn't mess me up when I follow along. Although I do plan on buying more dvds to vary up routine.

All in all very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

I bought this product at a local Target and my third step onto it the plastic that holds it at the highest level sheared off. Even if it hadn't broke I was going to return it because it's wobbly and not sturdy at all.
