I had a hard time find these Reebok classics in the stores and was very excited when I found them here. However, they are not as comfortable as they used to be, maybe that is why stores stopped carrying them. The arch, which was the best feature of the sneaker is almost non-existent and the padding on the inside of the sneaker is mush less than it used to be. The vendor was great, shipped on time and I received them quickly. The sneaker was the dissappointment

These are my wife's favorite shoes for walking and jogging. She especially likes the toe shape which isn't as boxy and blunt as other styles and brands. They're also very lightweight, cooler than leather and very washable, which is important living here in Hawaii, where we're warm and damp most of the time.

Unlike almost every person who reads this review or buys this style of Reebok, I am limited in my choices. Because of childhood polio, my feet are extremely small (4.5-5)and I wear braces on both feet. The Reebok Classic is the only shoe we have been able to find that has a solid bottom or sole. This allows my shoe repairman to add an inch lift to the bottom and a wedge. I am very fortunate that the times we live in are such that the sight of someone in the grocery store in "sneakers" is an unremarkable event. It also helps that I live in So. Calif. where casual dress is the standard. I am not really as pathetic as I sound, I actually own 3 pairs of the Classic Nylon Reebok, 1 pair of black leather extra depth shoes and a pair of light tan extra depth. That's it!! I consider Sarah Jessica Parker to be a goddess.

I purchased my first pair of these colorful classic sneakers several years ago, at a local 'brand name' discount store. To be honest, they initially caught my eye because of their vibrant color. Once I tried them on, they felt so wonderful, that I knew from that very moment, that I would wear them until they literally fell off my feet. They had such fantastic cushioning, with arch support, a cut above the highest standard. These are the only shoes I have ever owned that did NOT require additional supportive inserts.

The sad day came, when I had to delegate my foot savers to the trash. I wasn't too upset, because I figured they would never discontinue such a wonderful product. I was wrong. No one seemed to carry them. Disgruntled in my search, I gave up looking the last couple of years, only to stumble on them by complete accident, on Amazon. When I found them again, I was ecstatic. Not only were they old favorites, but I work as an RN, and we have recently been required to wear only navy blue scrubs. A perfect match!

The shoes arrived and I was not disappointed in their appearance. They are still striking and fun to look at. But, as other reviewers have noted, the foot-bed is not the same. They definitely do not have the same degree of cushioning, and the arch support is minimal, at best. So, I did have to resort to orthotic inserts, this time, before I could even wear them. But, after doing so, they were brought up to almost the same degree of comfort as my first pair. But, not quite!

I normally wear an 8 1/2 but sized up to a 9 because some reviewers felt this new version runs a little small. I didn't find this to be true. Even with an additional insert, this shoe is a little looser than I like, requiring some pretty tight lacing, or a thicker sock. I think most would do well to just order their regular size.

I'm disappointed that they have, in my opinion, cheapened this wonderful shoe. But, that does seem to be the sign of the times, doesn't it.

The shoes were just what I was looking for. Shipping time was really fast.

These were the same shoes I used to wear years ago. Same comfort as I remembered. Glad to have found these again.

I love these sneakers. They are the only ones I wear. I have hammer toes and the soft nylon top is extremely comfortable

These are my all-time favorite sneakers. They always fit just right and are more comfortable than any others I have owned.

I had another pair of these several years ago and found them to be one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I was so happy to find them again. However, I have to agree with some of the other reviewers here, this is a nice shoe but, they are not as comfortable as they use to be and seem to run just a bit more narrow. Perhaps you might want to think about buying them a half size larger than what you normally buy. Still a good buy though!

Okay, this review is for the pair that is BLACK & WHITE.

Reebok makes these for men and women. My father has an OLD pair like this! I don't know how long he has had his pair, but his feel much more cushiony. He hardly wears his though.
I bought my pair in 2008. With the original insoles, mine are not comfortable enough because I can feel the impact of my feet hitting the ground when I wear them casually(walking here and there doing chores, running errands, etc). Then again, I have had my pair since 2008. I never wore these everyday though. Anyway, I am glad there is always orthotics to buy to resolve any feeling of discomfort when wearing sneakers. I removed the original insoles and inserted sports orthotics. Now these sneakers are always comfortable when I wear them casually.

I do admire these sneakers for the classic, casual look.
