This mat is spongy, thick and very comfortable. It cushions and supports my 180 pound body from the hardest of floors. More expensive mats appeared plush and thick, but a quick squeeze between my fingers revealed very little padding inside. This Reebok reminds me of the padding used in gymnasiums. It's soft enough to protect my tender arthritic joints, yet supportive enough to prevent me from sinking to the floor.

Attached straps allow it to be rolled up, secured and stored easily in a closet or under the bed. It unrolls instantly and lays flat.

This is the first exercise mat I've owned and I must say I'm quite happy with it! I purchased this at Target not Amazon because I needed it that day. The price is the same (minus S&H if bought online). After playing with different mats in the store, this one was the winner.

It's very dense, you don't sink to the floor when on it. It's soft and easy against joints. Other mats looked thick but were too soft and you could still feel the floor when standing on it. There are 2 straps to secure the mat when it's rolled up. That is located on the underside of one end of the mat. It's light green like the stripes design on the mat.

Great color, comfort and quality! I definitely recommend this for pilates, yoga and general work outs.

I LOVE my yoga mat. I don't care that it's green not blue because the color doesn't matter to me that much. I can do yoga on a green mat just as well as I do on a blue one. My roommate got the blue one and she loves it too. Also, ANYTHING foamy smells when you first get it, memory foam, egg crates, and yoga mats aren't that different. They just need to be aired out for a day or two. I have had mine for a while and it doesn't smell anymore.

The reason I got this mat is that it's thick and I can do yoga on a hard wood floor and not feel my bones digging into the ground. It's also good for all the DVDs that have a floor or toning section. I've had it for over a year and it's held up really well. I'm glad I purchased this mat because it was definitely worth it.

And despite what some other reviewer said, it has a nice scent! But then, I like s plasticy scent.

This mat is a layer of cushiony foam between two layers. I don't slip on this at all, although the mat itself does move over our living room rug (wool) during the course of a yoga session. I've never tried it directly on our hardwood floor.

Probably the best yoga mat I've ever used!

I love this thing. I got it for stretching and, the first time I used it, I didn't want to get up it was so comfortable. And also, I was so surprised at what a thick mat you could get for under 30 bucks. (I got mine in Target). Many of the yoga mats are only 1/4 inch and are the same price or more. I have one problem with it. The smell. What ever the material it is made of, it has an awful chemical smell to it. I sprayed it with an enzyme spray. Didn't help much. Hope it will eventually fade. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the smell. Great mat otherwise.

I ordered this mat because it was blue--a color I preferred to the green ones available at my local Target store. It turned out to be the green one that was available at my local store. Couldn't they have told us--at least in the description--that it is not as pictured?

I strongly advised that before you buy read ALL the reviews on any products purchased on-line. The picture shown is of a blue mat. When it arrived it was GREEN. I purchased this item because I love the color blue - NO WHERE on the discription does it say its green. Also, the mat STINKS. It has a horrible odor. They also left that out on the discription.

I am very disappointed that they falsely advertised a BLUE mat and a GREEN mat was shipped. I advise all to take the time to read all the reviews before you purchase an item on-line. The picture does not tell the WHOLE (true) story.
