Product Description

Product Description

With this easy-to-use fitness watch by Reebok, you can measure your heart rate continuously while doing aerobics, swimming laps, or taking a brisk walk around the block. Lightweight, compact, and sporty-looking, this little monitor watch not only is less burdensome than the traditional chest strap models, but works faster, too. Simply place two fingers on the sensors on the face of the watch and, within four seconds, an accurate reading appears.

The monitor has a programmable heart rate zone with audible and visual alarms to alert you when you get out of zone, plus a settable alarm if you have a maximum rate you should not exceed. The Fitwatch also counts calories and fat burned during your workouts so that you can set daily calorie targets and track improvements. Made from durable plastic and fully water-resistant, the device features regular watch functions (time and date), plus a 100-hour stopwatch and countdown timer. It comes with a complete walking and exercise guide and one-year warranty.

About Reebok
Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder's grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle.

Product Description

This Reebok strapless heart rate monitor offers heart rate without having to use a chest belt by touching the sensor buttons on the watch. Accurate heart rate anytime.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very inconvenient, November 21, 2008
By
Gramon 1431 (Diamond Bar, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Reebok Fitwatch 10M Strapless Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Sports)
I bought the watch thinking that it would be more convenient not having to wear a strap around my chest when I'm running. It turns out that its more inconvenient having to constantly press the watch with my two fingers to get a reading.
The watch also has a pedometer feature that turns off when I'm at rest. I have to remember to turn the pedometer back on or else I would be missing steps. I therefore do not get a complete total of the number of steps I took for the whole day for the times that I forgot to turn the pedometer back on.

3.0 out of 5 stars works intermittently, September 20, 2007

Title says it all - sometimes takes 2/3 tries to get a reading, by which time my heart rate has gone down. Not too useful. Worked fine at the beginning so hope this is not a problem that will get worse.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does what it should, March 28, 2009
This review is from: Reebok Fitwatch 10M Strapless Heart Rate Monitor Watch (Sports)
This is a very nice watch. It measures your heart rate very well, but sometimes it will not read it and you have to wait a few minutes. The calorie burner counter is pretty cool, but if you take your pulse at a very high rate and then bring it down to a normal resting rate without re-testing, then it looks like you burn a ton of calories. It is great that the watch does not have a band that goes around your chest, but sometimes it would be nice if you did not have to hold 2 fingers on it to get a reading.

Overall, I would purchase again!
