Product Description

Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

I'm a casual runner who maybe runs 15-20 miles per week, and I've always suffered from knee pain when running. I bought a good pair of shoes (Asics Gel Nimbus), and still had the bum knees. If I ran on hard pavement for 3+ miles, I would start to feel the pain. I bought two neoprene knee braces to ease the pain, but it was just a band-aid over the problem. Again, by mile 4 or 5 on pavement, I would start to get sharp pains in my knees. So guys at work started talking about how comfortable these shoes were, and I did a little research. On the Amazon reviews, there was surprisingly little to go on in regards to how these shoes perform for runners. Nonetheless, I read some other reviews that said there were super 'cushiony' and were great at absorbing impact. I bought the off color (red/grey) because they were $45 (half the price of the other colors!). The shipping was minimal (~$5), and they arrived fairly quickly.

I put them on, and was a little unimpressed with how 'cushiony' they felt. But I set up for my first run in them, put the leash on my dog, and took off. It was amazing. I had no knee braces, and we just ran. Having never ran more than 7 miles in my life, I felt like I could run forever. I ended up doing 10 miles at a solid pace for me, and was super impressed. Better yet, the knee pain was non-existent. Instead, I had the dull pain in the quads and hamstrings that a runner should expect to get after running over long distances, as opposed to the sharp pain in the knee. In short, these shoes are the real deal for me. Now, I never have gotten properly fitted for a good running shoe - so I can't say if that was the problem with my Asics. However I slapped these shoes on, and it all went away.

For some context - I don't run but I bought these so that I could start. So far I've just been wearing them for short sprints with the dogs and casually to go out. With that in mind, shoes have been great. I feel like I'm running/walking on springs. And because the shoes are so lightweight and give such great flex, I actually find myself looking forward to putting them on.

Good fit and sizing - even though I have flat feet and tend to order/wear wider shoes. Love these shoes and love the look. The only things that took a while to get used to was that the red soles (the silver/black/red color) actually looked closer to a dark pink when I first got them. Now that they've been worn and gathered some dirt they look more like what I had envisioned.

I recieved these shoes on time and in the original Reebok shoe box. These shoes look good. The sushi green is sorta like a neon/lime green colour exactly as shown in the image. The shoe fits great. I like the SE-fly much more than the zigs. These have the zig nano soles in comparison to the bigger zig soles. They are very comfortable. I have heard quite a few " nice shoes" compliments since purchasing these shoes. Definately worth purchasing. I got them at a great deal as well when they were part of an amazon deal. I think I paid around $69.99 for them. They are great for wearing to the gym.

    I bought them on January 4, 2012.

Originaly, the plan was for jogging, but I guess I'm too lazy to jog lol. Hence, the perfect walking shoes. There are really comfortable and they really feel like they push you as you walk.
I was afraid they were not going to last after reading some reviews here, but one must wonder what type of use where they giving them. They seem pretty strong but I wouldn't use them in bad terrain or for other sports. So far no noticeable wear marks :)

I was very happy with these sneakers. But they lasted only 7 months without heavy use. It started getting holes on the mesh and can't wear them as much as I want now.
I'm still using them because they are still holding for some types of work, and the sole still comfortable. So I'll just get some value that way for awhile longer.
wish they had better construction, it was my best red pair of sneakers :(

I would recommend these shoes to anyone, any day. They are the most comfortable things I've ever put on my feet. And they still provide support, flexibility, and great style (a much better look than the ridiculous big zigs in my opinion!). Buy em.
They're worth the extra 10 dollars over the non-SE zigflys, too.

My 17 year old son loved these shoes. They're extremely lightweight yet still feel sturdy and supportive. As an added bonus, they actually made his size 13 feet look small!

I am the type of guy who goes through shoes quickly. I walk hard and in turn my shoes fall apart. Normally I buy cheap shoes at the super market and replace them when they start to disintegrate but this time I splurged and got these. What a world of difference.

You truly do "get what you pay for" with shoes. The shoes feel excellent on your feet and I always can't wait to get home form work and put these on. They seem to be holding up well so far and have not had an rips or areas start to un-glue. They are made of mesh so whenever you walk you can feel the air between your toes. I like this but during the winter it can be cold. I have gotten many compliments on these shoes and many people notice them.

These shoes feel good and last, they are not too expensive and look great.
