Bought these for my son who is a lineman (center) in football. Nice gloves and well made. They do run a bit large though.

My son plays both DE and RT on an 8th grade team. I got him a pair of these in 2010 and they held up just fine all season long and provide good padding on the hands while keeping hands warmer when the weather cools off. Since they worked so well last year, I purhcased another pair this year so that he could use the old pair in practice and new pair in games, after only one game the new pair completely ripped apart between the thumb and first finger on the right hand and are now junk. While I understand that the gloves take a large amount of abuse, they should at least last an entire season... Our first pair has (and is still going), our second pair lasted only a single game.

Purchased two pair of these padded linemen gloves for my son (Defensive End/Linebacker) in the middle of season after he lost original pair on the team bus. A black pair and grey pair thinking they would last to the end of my son's high school season. The grey pair ripped at the inseam (along the stitching of the front side and the between the thumb and index finger in the first quarter of the game. Thinking this might be user error, in the 2nd game even after taping up the fingers on a (2nd pair) new pair. This happen again TWICE in two games, this has to be a manufacturing defect. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT unless you need driving or bicycling gloves. NOT INTENDED FOR COMPETITION PLAY.
Two out of Three failures is not bad Right,,,, WRONG. Simply WORTHLESS. Still 4 games left.

My son plays freshman football - offensive line - and needed some quality gloves, as his hands and thumbs were getting sore. We found these and they're perfect - solid construction, great padding on the thumb and just overall great gloves. You won't be disappointed!

My son plays High school football. He is on the offensive line. He wore these gloves to practice on 8/26 and then in a game on 8/27. One of the glove came apart along the thumb seam making them totally useless. I am very disapointed in the product. I would expect Reebok to offer a higher quality product. Football is a hard sport. I would expect to see wear by the end of the season, but after 1 game. That is pretty sad.

Update:
Amazon sent me a new pair. He wore them the rest of the season without issue. Maybe I just got a bad one.

I love these gloves. High quality, durable, well worth it. I'd highly, highly recommend them.

you could take a beating with these gloves and everytime i wear them i feel like hurting someone you know(tackling) and you could also catch the football good with these gloves. i recommend these gloves for anyone who seeks and destroys and anyone who wants padded gloves. but the only problem is that if you order a size L it comes in like size XL because of the padding.

These gloves were a life-saver for my high-schooler's hands. As an offensive lineman his knuckles were taking a beating. These made all the difference for the second half of the season. The overnight shipping was well worth the cost to get them in time for a Saturday morning game. Great gloves and great service! Thanks!

We bought these gloves for our son who plays HS football. He is 6'4" and needed the XXL gloves that we could not find in the local sport stores. Of course Amazon had them and got them to us quickly in time for the next game. They are holding up great!

I just got them this week and when my son put them on for the first time they ripped by the Velcro. A waste of my money and I don't have much money as it is.
