My favorite shoes for years, April 14, 2007
These Reebok Classic Leather Running Shoes are my favorite shoes. For me, they have almost no break-in time, and fit my feet better than the Princess style (which seems to be more popular). I put them on and go. The heels are a little stiff for a day or so but not enough to be bothersome. Over the years, I have probably purchased over 20 pairs of these. Occassionally they have a special version, like the pink ribbon symbol on the tongue. I always buy two pairs at a time, one for "nice" and one for "scuff around." I always have several pairs in various stages of wear in my closet.
They're getting a little hard to find in the Wide width, but as I am losing weight, even my feet are getting smaller, so I may not buy the Wide width next time and see how they fit. I know they also come in black but have never bought a pair in black.
I am training for the Peachtree Road Race for the first time and see no reason to change shoes - when these are new, there is a lot of cushion, support and spring in them.
The only thing I don't care for is the new shoelace they've been using for over a year now, and seems other companies are using also - the slippery nylon or some material that easily comes loose several times durng the day. Good old white cotton laces solve this problem.

I purchase this shoe every year. Its extremely comfortable and goes with almost every casual/sporty outfit.
