4.0 out of 5 stars So Far So Good, November 19, 2010
Please note I did not buy this boot because of its EasyTone qualities alone, I was looking for a comfortable shoe to wear at work for the winter.

My office is drafty and the floors are cement therefore I wanted something warm, durable, comfortable yet not an actual sneaker. Tada! This will be my fourth day of wear and I am impressed. The size is true, the construction is great, it is warm and the shoe is instantly comfortable in both thick and thin socks. The balance issues are nil and it seriously does not look ridiculous or like a big orthopedic shoe. As for its toning qualities, obviously, time will tell. After the first day of wear my posture was improved while wearing them and my calves were a little tired the next day, but that could happen from any new shoe really. It even was comfortable after 13 hours of wear.

Regarding the claimed toning capabilities, because I don't feel my muscles clenching and adjusting while I'm moving or standing I highly doubt they will have any really noticeable effect of toning. However, improving my posture is enough for me. It is just a boot after all, not a boot camp exercise regimen.

The boot sits higher than an ankle boot, so the getting in and out of the boot does take a little more effort and investing in a boot shoehorn might not be a bad idea for the wide-footed. This boot isn't going to win any glamour contests but for a solid, winter non-muck boot I think you would be wise to check this one out.

Note to bicyclists: it is fine to ride in as well. No slip issues on a standard bike pedal, plus there is a little reflective emblem on the back outside heel of each boot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Boot, December 23, 2010

This boot is great it is warm, light, and cute. I have had many compliments on these boots (especially from my high school students). The other reviews mention it is hard to put on but I don't agree as long as you loosen the laces it just slips right on. As for the toning its hard to say but I like to think it's working. My one issue with the boots is I got the grey ones and they are not very grey they are more of a dark taupe color.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy these shoes!, December 8, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Well, getting and returning these shoes was a sad experience, because I really like my easytone sneakers, and this seemed like the perfect combination of comfort and a regular shoe to wear, that doesn't look like a sports shoe.... they looked really nice in the picture, and even when I received them, but quickly I realized there is a REASON Reebok doesn't sell these boots directly and you can't find them on its website: they are uncomfortable and they make your feet numb.

The shaft is too rigid, I think it probably would hurt and scrape the back of the calf after a short while using it... It was kind of a struggle to put them on, because of the stiff and narrow shaft... I think the materials used are more for a snow resistant kind of shoe, which this is not supposed to be.

Additionally, I had read about the numbing of the toes (I looked everywhere for reviews, because I found it odd that they don't exist on the Reebok website), but the truth is I thought the reviewers were a little picky... not the case! the shoe is too tight on the foot, so as it gets squished in, I assume it doesn't get enough circulation, and very quickly you start to feel the toes and the foot in general going numb and "asleep"... I'm guessing here, but I think this is due to two reasons: 1) the same stiff material in the shaft is used here, so when you take a step, the shoe doesn't fold on top in the natural way every shoe does, instead it puts pressure on the top, so you end up walking like a robot; and 2)the company put a furry lining inside to make it nice and cozy (and it is), but it turned out to be too thick, and that's part of what makes the space for your feet less that it should be, hence the shoe is too tight.

I really wanted those issues not to be enough of a reason to return them, but after leaving them on for about half an hour in my carpeted apartment I had to give up and start packing them up again. In short, I guess this was an experiment gone wrong from Reebok, and even though it's a good idea, the design and materials used are not efficient and I would say even harmful. I consider these shoes should not be sold, they should be taken off the market and off this site, I don't recommend anyone buying them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ouch!, January 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I own a pair of easytone sneakers, which are fabulous! I received these today and thought they would be the perfect solution. I own a pair of Uggs, but they kill my feet and my back. These fit my feet, except they squeeze down on the top of your foot! I don't usually wear wide shoes, so this has surprised me. Your toes fall asleep within five minutes of wearing them. Also, the tongue is attached to the boot, which makes them awkward to put on. If you have very tiny feet, these might work well for you. I'm a 9.5, and they are an utter disappointment. I will be returning them today. Looks like I'm sticking to my Uggs and my achy feet!

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Bother, January 5, 2011
This review is from: Reebok Women's EasyTone Passion Toning Boot (Apparel)
These are NOT winter boots. To be fair, I live in Minnesota and it gets below zero. The insulation is a joke; its thin and NOT warm at all. They may keep the feet warm at 32 and thats about it. They were uncomfortable. I could feel the seams on the side of the boot. They are also difficult to get a custom fit. The bottoms are also extremely slippery. These boots may work on dry pavement, but not on snowy/icy trails. The boots are nowhere near as comfortable as the shoes. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Boot, November 22, 2011
This review is from: Reebok Women's EasyTone Passion Toning Boot (Apparel)
I own a pair of Easy Tone sneakers and LOVE them but needed something in leather for Winter. Saw these, read the reviews and had mixed feelings so I kept looking. I didn't find anything I liked so I ended up ordering these and I like them very much. I walk three miles every day and the Easy Tone line is the best shoe I have found yet. "Like walking on sunshine". With regard to the boot...They arent quite as comfortable as the sneaker but I didnt expect that a leather boot would be until it's been worn a while. Also I would suggest going up a half size if you plan to wear with thick socks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great boots, September 17, 2011
This review is from: Reebok Women's EasyTone Passion Toning Boot (Apparel)
These are wonderful boots for my feet. I wear European 40-41 (US 9-9 1/2) and have no problem with the boots pressing on my feet, maybe because I have rather narrow, slim feet. They are great to walk in, I am used to MBT sandals, which have a similar design. I was lucky to get them on sale at amazon, and hope they last at least a couple of winters. Only question, do I have to waterproof them?

1.0 out of 5 stars Hard to put on, December 16, 2010
This review is from: Reebok Women's EasyTone Passion Toning Boot (Apparel)
I ordered this shoe before trying it on and I was very dissapointed in how hard it was to put on. I like a boot that is a confort boot to be easy to take on and off. The shoe is hard leather, if thats what it's made of. I expected it to be much softer than what it was. Upon returning the shoe to the store that I ordered it from; the salesperson told me that the shoe was not selling well due to the difficulty level in which people were having trying to put the shoe on. Women were giving up and walking away from the boot. WOW!. So I will say I love the Reebok easytone line I own several pair. But stay away from this boot!

I was so looking forward to receiving these boots, since I have two pairs of Simplytones and have walked many miles in them. I put them on for the first time, with socks, tied them up, and my toes went numb!! I bought my usual size, but they were not wide enough, and the top part of the shoe is tight. Back they went.
