Stable shoe with toning properties,

I'm not a fan of the way this shoe looks - its like something my grandmother would wear. However, the shoe itself is very well constructed. I broke my ankle a few years ago so I need a lot of support. This shoe definitely offers much support. The shoe is true to size for a running shoe (you should always order your running shoes a half size larger than your normal shoe size) and very snug on my foot. My feet are a "regular" width and I find this shoe very snug so it may not be comfortable for those with wide feet.
There are 2 pods on the bottom of the shoe that mimic natural instability. The instability is unnoticeable after your first use. What I like about this shoe is that it feels sturdy and like a normal walking shoe unlike the 3-letter crazy expensive pair that I own. Plus its not heavy like that other pair. As for the toning properties... I walked for 40 minutes at 4.0 on a treadmill and after the second day on the treadmill the back of my legs were a bit sore. On the third day after using the treadmill my legs were extremely sore. So yes, this shoe works. I'm young and in good shape but I think these shoes add an extra boost to your step so that you muscles are working just a tad harder. I wouldn't call it the miracle shoe but if you are always on your feet or take regular long walks then this shoe will add an extra element of "work-out" to your day.

Not an MBT,
By
This review is from: Reebok Women's EasyTone Rush SF Walking Shoe (Apparel)
After much searching for a cheaper MBT, I settled for the Reebok as I liked it's more streamlined look. However, they do not look as good as in the picture, and they are heavy and stiff. I spent an entire day power walking in these and felt nothing but uncomfortable(like from wearing an ill-fitting shoe). I had a blister from the tongue on one shoe and felt like I'd gotten a crappy sneaker rather than a fitness shoe. I have tried on the sketchers shape up shoes and felt like they were working just walking around the shoe store. I will be sending these Reeboks back and investing in a pair of Sketchers.

I love these shoes!,

This review is from: Reebok Women's EasyTone Rush SF Walking Shoe (Apparel)
My husband asked me if I wanted some shoes from eastbay.com since he was ordering some and of course I said yes. I'm athletic and run about 20-35 miles a week and usually buy shoes based on comfort and price vs. brand and technology. I saw the commercial for these and since I wasn't really sure what to get on the website I asked my husband if it was ok I get them but was hesitant because they're out of my usual price range.
Compared to other "Balance" shoes these are very comfortable and although a little bulky not nearly as unslightly as other shoes such as MBT or sketchers. Walking down stairs is a little uncomfortable when getting used to these. The first week I had some discomfort with my feet going numb and being a little tight in the large toe area, especially when running long distnaces but after three weeks I adjusted. These are not the most comfortable shoe in the world I don't have any back or knee pain and my mile time has improved. My calves and thighs feel like they're burning I can't believe how amazing my butt and thighs look. I LOVE IT!!! I feel a lot more confident. I can feel and see the tone in my legs and my cellulite has disapeared (note I didn't have a lot to begin with but has increased with age.) I'm an average pear shaped sized woman 5'6 150lbs age 30. I didn't lose weight but my pant size dropped from a womens 10 to an 8 in three weeks and to me that says a lot about the shoe and is worth it to me. I would definately recommend you give these shoes a try. I will be investing in a pair of easytone sandles once the snow melts here! They aren't miracle workers, you have to do some work but they add the extra OOMPH! If you're looking for toned legs, as agreed with the other rating, if only they could make something to do the same for my abs beside the yoga ball!

I am firmer below the waist since wearing these sneakers everyday as part of my jogging routine. For one hour a day the past six months, I've seen a heck lot firmer, at least my thighs, buttocks and calves are pretty well toned.
For me these did the trick, now if I could find something for my middle I'd be set to go. They're comfortable and okay looking.

Excellent shoe for Plantar Fasciitis and heavier people!!,
This review is from: Reebok Women's EasyTone Rush SF Walking Shoe (Apparel)
I have gained some weight after I turned 40 and have Plantar Fasciitis, these shoes are a daily life saver. I can walk with my 10 year old in the mall and around town with no pain. I feel 20 years old again. I wish Reebok would make these is mens for my son. He is heavier and gets tired easily. Also I messed up the bottom of the shoe and customer service exchanged them for me. I will be buying more of these shoes, PLEASE do not stop making them.

Reebok has had a trend of putting great technology in their shoes. This is the pinnacle of the moment. I bought these for my girlfriend and she simply loves them. Their light, really cushioned, plus the easytone technology is a plus for anyone (man or woman) now everyone when they walk can exercising their legs and buttocks area better and these are not as bulky as those other toning shoes. Great product.

They Really Do Work!,

Size: They do fit a bit snug at first, but break them in by wearing them everyday. After a while, they get a lot more comfortable and fit perfectly
Movement: You'll definitely feel the balance ball technology when you wear them. They sort of give the effect of walking on sand (you have to use more muscles to maintain your regular style of walking than when walking in flat-soled shoes) Design: They look cool! I don't know how people say these things are big and clunky. This particular one (the EasyTone Rush SF) is sleek. It goes up just below my ankle bone, so when I initially started wearing it, it did rub on my ankle a bit. Not a problem, I just loosened the strings a bit so that it wasn't squeezing at the top and problem solved. I like that they're NOT big and clunky. Toning: Within two weeks of wearing them everyday, my butt was a lot firmer! I checked to see the difference by the amount of cellulite (I know it's gross, sorry). There wasn't a lot of begin with, but most of it was pretty much gone by the time I checked the mirror again after a couple of weeks. I'm also seeing more muscle tone and definition on the side of my thigh and calves. I'm not skinny or lean and slender like the models in the advertisements, but I definitely see and feel a difference. Pricing: A bit much, but definitely worth it! Value: Worth every penny. I bought the Run Tone (the running version of the shoe) Would I Recommend Them: Absolutely! I've been telling family and friends all about them. I'm still getting a few crazy looks based on the price alone (which is normal because I looked the same way before buying them at $100). They're especially good if you're on your feet a lot (nurses, supermarket workers, etc.), you may feel it even faster. But I recommend NOT staying on your feet in them all day when you first buy them because your feet will be ready to fall off after a few hours lol. I sit down all day at work, so I wear them and walk as much as I can. They've actually motivated me to walk more (walk to work from the nearby subway stop rather than take the bus, etc.). I'm wearing them right now. I love them. They really do work!

The Shoe Deflates and Fall Apart,

These are not a good looking shoe, but I initially liked this shoe because I could really feel the difference in my legs after a long walk. However, after three months of wear, the air stability balls on the bottom of the shoe went completely flat. The rubber on the bottom of the shoe has also fallen off. These shoes are now flat and literally falling apart. I am so disappointed because they were expensive. I am trying to get a refund from Reebok or Lady's Foot Locker, but no luck yet. Now I have an ugly pair of flat $110 shoes. I would never buy them again. What a disappointment!!

I was a bit skeptical about the claims that just wearing these shoes could give you better muscle tone. Well I am here to tell you they deliver on thier promise and more! I am very out of shape and as my mother would tell you I have terrible posture. After owning and wearing these shoes for 2 mos. I have greatly increased my muscle toneand my posture has improved also. The bottom of these shoes has little stability balls in them so your posture is improved because you have to stand properly to maintain your balance. I have Parkinson's disease yet I still am able to maintain my balance in these shoes something I can't always do in my other footwear. My husband loves the results this pair of shoes is giving me. I would highly recommed these shoes to anyone, not only has my body firmed up I notice an increase in stamina too. Just expect that thee first few days you'll probably only want to wear them for half the day because your leg and butt muscles will be sore. Though I am so out of shape even I started wearing them all day within a week. Other than the price which is rather high I am a very satisfied customer.

Well honestly I don't know if they are working. I walk about 5 miles a week in them but haven't seen a noticeable difference so far.
