I am very happy with this stainless steel flatware set. The handles are lovely. Included in this set are 12 steak knives that look just like the regular knives except that they are much sharper and the end comes to a point. This set also has a beautiful shine to it and seems very well made. Nothing cheap or flimsy looking about this beautiful flatware.

My sister had a set of flatware from the same company, but that particular set was discontinued. I bought these for her as I / we thought they would blend well with her first set. They did and she was thrilled to replenish her everyday flatware and have enough for guests. I think it was a great purchase and we are both happy with the product and the price.

For the price, I'm very pleased with this set. This is the only set I have found that has a service for 12, plus serving pieces. It is at least equal, in quality, to higher priced sets I have seen in big-name department stores. If you are looking for something that is acceptable for everyday use, I can recommend this.

I bought this set to replace my every day flatware. I was pleased beyond words when I recieved the product. The pieces are beautiful in design, very substantial, and quite a variety of pieces. I can see these being used for formal dinners as well. The surprise with this purchase was that it comes with a set of wonderful steak knives and fabulous serving pieces to boot! The length of the knives and dinner forks are longer than standard, so a standard divider will not work with this flatware. I was reluctant to make this purchase online, as I like to feel the weight of a piece of flatware. This worked out great, as I would have never found this quality for this price in ANY retail store.

This set at $49.00 is a steal. I have purchased 75+ items from Amazon and this was one of the best I have received. The flatware is heavy with a very expensive look and feel. I will be shocked if it does not last for years. It is a "can't miss" purchase!!!!!

Yes, they are a bit heavy but I love this set anyway. The salad forks on my last set were so small (short tines) that I hated using them but these are a perfect size. Matching steak knives are a plus (and they work beautifully). Impressive in appearance. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would have given it 5 stars if they weren't so heavy.

This is the 2nd set that I purchase, because they are so beautiful and I want each of my kids to have a set when they marry. I still have a couple more to purchase. Thank you.

I purchased a few of these sets to have adequate flatware for entertaining. I'm so tired of using plasticware!! I already have Oneida for everyday use that I've had for over 20 years and is great. I was a little unsure, considering the mixed reviews...however this Reed & Barton set is elegant and has great bonus pieces including 12 steak knives and nice variety of serving pieces. The quality seems even better than showed in the photos...very shiny and bright. I would NOT say that it "looks cheap" like one of the other reviewers. One thing I will agree with...some of the pieces are a little oversized like the knives. They are longer than typical knives. Also, I would not recommend giving as a gift unless you were going to repackage and display in a nice box or something, as the packaging is not very nice, pieces are in plastic bags, wrapped in paper in a plain unmarked cardboard box...not much of a presentation. It is reasonably priced here on Amazon and was available for free shipping. Not sure how it will hold up, just received them. Overall I think a great set for the price. Would recommend.

This is a very beautiful Stainless Steel Flatware set. A very heavy one. I can say this is the best purchase I've ever made.

The wife loves them so there you go...I did good on this purchase :)

They are the perfect size/the perfect weight and so shinny you can see yourself in them... I think thats why my wife looks at them so much and smiles.

They are simply beautiful just like my wife.
