I came across this jewel in a bargain bin during a comic convention. I was love at first sight. I knew I was going to love this comic so I instantly ran out and got volume 1. I couldn't have been more glad that I picked this treasure up. I highly enjoyed the art and story of this comic. I highly enjoyed watching Reed, Sterling, and Starla's relationship grow during this volume. One of the things I highly enjoy about this comic is that the stories feel fresh, and sunk me deeper into the world of Reed Gunther. I will also say I love the art of this comic. Some may think it's too "kiddie", but I think it fits the comic perfectly and I would say it would be a foolish move to pass on this book because of that. Just read the first pages, and I think you will find it hard to put down. The collection of stories are nothing short of great, and I even enjoyed the extra mini comics and original Reed Gunther story. Hands down one of my favorite books ever. Unfortunately I don't see any other volumes out or in the works, but I surely enjoyed the ride this comic offered. Bourbon and Raw Eggs, this man just can't get enough of this bear riding cowboy.
