These are nice looking. As others have pointed out, they are significantly smaller than the stated size. Go up one size when ordering. Size 11 flip flops are usually a little big on me. My toes are over this shoe when I walk. I have returned them for a size 12. Follow up: Received the size 12. The length is close to an 11, but the straps are very loose. The sandal is now too "flip floppy" and noisy, making it uncomfortable and lacking in support. Returned.

I live in sandles all summer and have been disappointed many times by online purchases. Not this time. These are just what I look for. Well made and comfortable. One thing, order one size larger than you would a regular shoe.

My husband loves these reef sandals, he says they are the most comfortable he's ever had. They provide great arch support and look great too.

A friend recommended this Flip Flop and I'm glad he did, worth twice the price! My tender feet aren't used to the contact points of a Flip Flop (between the toe) so I don't know if I could wear all day but this certainly is no fault of the sandal. Unlike most Flip Flops with cheap flimsy foam soles that wear out in a very short period of time, the sole on this sandal is very supportive, firm and shock absorbing, almost sneaker like.

My ONLY complaint and second recommendation would be to purchase one size larger than you generally wear in a sneaker/shoe. I wear a size 9 (Men) boot/shoe/sneaker and had to return my first pair of sandals for a size 10 because my heel was nearly hanging off the back of the sandal. (Thank goodness for Amazon Prime's no hassle return policy!!)

I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

I found these Sandals by accident at Academy sports store, I almost didn't buy them because of the price but decided to take a chance... Well worth the price in comfort and durability they run a little small so buy a size bigger than your sneaker...

I haven't been a sandal/flip flop wearer over the years so I am having to get used to the feel. These sandals seem more like big flip flops to me because they definitely "flop" against my heels when I walk in them. I am hoping, over time, as i walk in them more that will become less so.

They do have a lot of cushion in them and the arch support feels great so I like them just fine. I was expecting the thong to be cloth as I thought I saw in the picture but mine are leather and I am having to break that in so's it doesn't feel quite so prominent between my toes. But all in all not bad for the money.

Love this sandle! I was hesitant at first (because of the cost), but after reading all the reviews, I went ahead and bought them. Not a regret in sight! I can wear them and be on my feet ALL day without a thought. In fact, this past summer, I rarely used my shoes (gotta love Southern California weather). Just can't go wrong with these.

I never thought I would rate a Reef sandal at less than 5 stars because I have owned more pairs than I can count and loved them all. These are no exception really because the footboard feels better than any of the others I owned. The problem is the sizing. It's as if they got mixed up and sized them all wrong at the factory. I wear a 12 with every other Reef Sandal and most other shoes. I never have worn a 13 in anything, not in my whole 50 years of existence... until now. I had to send the 12's back because my heel hung over the back of the footboard by about 1/4". My 13's are on the way so I'm sure I'll love them as much as the other Reefs I've owned, but really this size thing is ridiculous and that's why I gave a 4 star rating. I know a lot of previous reviewers said to watch the size but I thought it couldn't be all that bad. Well it is, so if you're buying this particular Reef sandal, then please do yourself a favor and try ordering a size bigger first. It really is sized that small.

Update: I just received the size 13's two days later from Amazon, and I discovered something I thought I should share. The 13's fit my size 12 feet perfectly. I happen to have a couple of other pairs of Reef sandals so I held the footboards of my new 13 Slap II's up against my current size 12 Fannings. They are exactly identical both in size and in placement of the thong. There you have it. If you're used to wearing a 12 in a Fanning, then DEFINITELY order size 13 in the Slap II. It's the exact same thing.

That being said, I believe these to be the most comfortable flip flops I have ever put on my feet. They are just unbelievably springy and light, compared to my Fannings, but still feel very substantial to me. The quality and comfort tempt me to increase the rating but I can't bring myself to. I mean, how long has Reef been doing this? How hard would it be for their quality control to spot a blatant goof like this? Sorry Reef. You deserve 5+ stars for the sandal, but that size error really hurts the experience and your quality control must have been asleep not to catch it.

Good day. I bought this pair of Reef Slap II sandals in November 2013. I have a well-worn pair of Olukai Kia 1 sandals, these are amazing comfortable and had lasted me 4 years now and the lining on the strap are breaking apart. So I looked at the Reef Slap II sandals. The Slap II sandals arrived and there was a coating of powdery substance on the shoes, I guess this could be left over from the shoe moulding process. I put on the Reef sandals and it felt very soft to the extent of being feeling that there is no support. There is very minimal arc support for this sandals. After walking a few steps, I realized that the heel actually moved inwards and it is not sitting in the centre of the sandals. I checked and noticed that the strap on the left side is longer than the right side so this will push the heel inwards and hence I was walking unbalanced on the heel. This means that I can sprain my ankle easliy and also the sandals will wear off faster on the inside. The protruding sandal size number that was embossed on the heel of the sandals keeps rubbing again the heel and it felt uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I cannot return this pair of sandals and I am going back to Olukai sandals. I had taken photos and not sure how to upload to amazon.

After using it extensively for more than 2 weeks, yes, it is slippery on wet surfaces. The high foot base makes it difficult to walk up and down slopes. I am starting to see serious wear on the sole of the sandals.
