5.0 out of 5 stars Casino Gaming Perfection
Wow! I just got "Reel Deal Casino Quest" a few days ago and I can't stop playing it! This is, without a doubt, the best gambling simulation for PC ever! I don't know where this company Phantom EXF came from, but I played their "Reel Deal Slots and Video Poker" and after enjoying it for months, I knew I had to have the Casino. I was not let down...

Freezes up every few games. Takes too long to switch between games. Is not very fast and soon became boring. Please buy another game. You will be glad you did.I owned this game for less than ten hours and threw it away.Buy something else.

I was not let down. Everything is almost perfect, great graphics and sounds, and the games are so fun. The opponents seem to play great strategy too. Plus they let you earn trophies and prizes as you progress to become the "Grand Master" of the casino. Finally a point in playing these games. Did I mention the slots in Casino alone are better than everything elso out there except the other slots from this company? Every casino game is in this package is great, and they have tuttorials to teach the games you don't know too. This one has it all. I'm removing Hoyle casino and Microsoft tonight. If you love gambling software, buy this! Also, I've played it tons and have had no crashes at all. This is my new favorite game!

5.0 out of 5 stars Reel Deal Casino Quest, August 20, 2002

I primarily order games for the slots. The "Quest" has 11 slots, which can be played for various coin increments. Two have bonus screens. Some of these slots are included in the original Real Deal Combo Pack, however, the graphics are far better the original. There are many other casino games included in the "Quest" and the CD comes with an instruction book. The book is helpful in learning to paly the new games and advance from beginner to the grand Master Tournament. There is also a Bingo game that combines slots with bingo. In all the package is great. It is like a guided tour through a casino.

If your looking for a the best casino game out there - you found it. Realistic game play, great sounds and effects...and addicting! It has almost every game found in the casinos; including 9 versions of Poker, 2 versions of Blackjack, Keno, Bingo, Pai Gow, even War. Most of the 13 slot machines have bonus rounds like those on the real machines. There are tournaments, and even comp prizes. If you aren't sure how to play a game the manual has full instructions on every one including odds. I finally understand craps!
I have no problems running this on my ancient Win 95 machine.
If you want the real deal, get REEL DEAL!
Great job Phantom EFX! I'll look for more from you!

Whoever programmed this game did a masterful job. The credits say his name is Forrest Stowe. What other games has this guy done? After playing Casino Quest, I will definitely be on the lookout for more of his work. This is the best and most entertaining gambling simulation I have come across. Great job!

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT PLAY - Still has bugs in system..., August 19, 2002

As expected from Phantom FX this is truely a GREAT Game. The play is fantastic, I bought it for the new full motion slots and the multihand video poker. Both are very realistic, except for the payouts, which are set for fun and not reality. The game does have a MAJOR DOWNSIDE. While playing game I was fine, but when trying to return to the lobby, the game locks up and I had to restart my computer. I played for 10 hours this weekend and it happened about once an hour. I am looking forward to Slots II coming out in September.

This is the best reel life practice for you before you hit the tables or slots. Best Casino software, and reel life feel of the casinos on the market

1.0 out of 5 stars ugly software, April 12, 2003

The software has to load every time you change a game. It is so slow even with the cd in. You can not run the game by itself. The play is unrealistic and hard to understand what to do when the game screen is on your computer. We bought it for a gift. We are glad we tried it before we gave it. We are not giving it. We are now searching for another game. If i had a choice to give no stars i would.

= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Reel Deal Casino Quest (CD-ROM)
In this blackjack game, the dealer consistently beats the odds. I don't mean sometimes, but 90% of the time. To learn and actually play the game, one has to be able to count on cetain outcomes a certain percentage of the time. This is not programmed to do that. Perhaps it was made by someone who wants all of us to stay away from casinos! Believe the computer chart of the odds (available on-line and in books). While it leaves the casino about a 1/2% edge in a multi-deack game, it is only that. Not with this game, though.

This is a great casino game except for the fact that the player cannot control the amount of decks he plays against in blackjack, for example. I use this game for practice before I go to Reno at the end of this month. I would have liked to use this product to simulate the play I will get there-which I did not get from this game.
