I've not had any problems with this game. I did, however, make sure I had the required video card and memory before purchasing. This game is a slot lover's dream! Gorgeous graphics, innovative bonus rounds, and clever themes make for hours of fun.

The overall theme is pirates.."AAAaRRRgh", and several games tap into that. From swashbuckling adventures, to dark and scary pirates, to hilarious pirate parodies.

Raja's Rupees has a lush feel of India...gorgeous graphics, and Tunzamunny is a funky blend of Egyptian and Sci-fi that has to be seen to be believed. My favorite is Kash Kong, a take on King Kong, with cool art deco graphics and a great bonus round. There really is something for everyone here, and none that I don't like.

Don't get the wrong idea about this game from the negative reviews. Just make sure your computer meets the requirements before purchasing. Blackbeard's Revenge is one of the best entertainment buys I've ever made for $20.

for me this is the funniest of the efx gaming products. at my age and my situation every bit of humor helps one get on with life. some of the bonus rounds have me pause to enjoy a good laugh. i have ten of the efx games and this is by far the best for me. love the slot machines.

We have all the Phantom EFX slots machine games. They are the best. We love having bonus rounds and all these machines have them. To bad they only come out with games once a year.

I have enjoyed playing this game. It is very entertaining. Many new slots included with this product. However, there are a few "traditional" slots which are just OK. I have read other reviews that have been negative, but this is not in my experience. It works fine on my newer PC that has Windows Vista Home Premium installed.

I am sooooooo happy that I didn't listen to all the negative reviews on this game. I didn't have one bit of a problem installing or any other issues. You have to do the upgrades, no big deal. The games are lots of fun and the graphics are great. I just wish I would have waited till after Christmas to get the game cause I am not getting my Christmas stuff done! If you have an older computer like my husband's, you have to monkey around a bit to get it to work but it still works fine and if you find the right combo there isn't any issues with freezing up, he is still having a lot of fun with it even though his graphics aren't nearly as good as mine. Anybody with a little computer knowledge and patience can get this game to play just fine. Phantom when can we expect to see the 50 lions type games?????"

We have this game loaded on Windows Vista. We only had one issue - it quick working and a quick call to Phamtom EFX technician solved the problem. It was a quick downloaded from their site and wahlaa - - - back to gaming. Doubloons, Cheddar Chase, High Seas Adventure, Pirate Show are just a few favorites. I would recommend to everyone that if their having problems call the tech's - you won't be disappointed.

I do not know how anyone can give this game a bad rap! I love this game! I played it at my daughters and immediately ordered myself a copy from Amazon! No kidding! If you enjoy games with bonus rounds you will totally love this disc! I cannot wait for my copy to arrive!!!

As I stated in my review of this title's sister game, Reel Deal Millionaire's Club, the online MMO aspect of the games (which work together online) are suffering from a variety of technical issues such as booting, lag, and glitches as of this writing in March '09. However, if you have the patience for that, there is a very worthwhile game in there. It is my feeling that good heavily outweighs the problems, and I continue to enjoy playing regardless of them. However, if you are a stickler for such issues I highly recommend picking this title up at a later date after the developers have had a chance to repair some of these issues - possibly a few months from now or when the new installments of Reel Deal games come out in September. I would point out that there are no problems with the offline game, only the online MMO play.

This game is slots only, no casino table games. (For those you will need to additionally pick up Reel Deal Millionaire's Club). The Reel Deal games have the best slots I've ever seen in a video game, and are better than many brick and mortar casino games. 2 new ones are available for download every month also, to add to your collection. The art for the slots is top notch, and the bonus rounds play out as fun minigames.

Online you can participate in a 3D casino MMO world where you create an avatar, walk around, play the games, level up, and get rewarded for your experience earned. It's as close to going to a real casino as you're going to get right now on a video game, and without having to spend your real world cash.

If you want a slot game, this is the one to get. If the technical problems are an issue for you, either wait to buy or plan to play offline only for a while.

Blackbeards Revenge has a decent variety of slot games - most have bonus plays. The things I don't like are:

Too many spins to accomplish a bonus (just my greed).

There are two ways to play- real casino value and enhanced value-
I wish the enhanced value pays were higher. There doesn't seem to be a big difference between the two types of play.

It crashes often on my system if it sits without play- so I close it when not in use.

The update button does not take me to the website at startup to get the updates.

The switch time between machines is tedious and time consuming as it takes you back to the "ship" to pick another machine and then load the graphics.

All in all, however, this is a fun game that will give slot players hours of enjoyment. The variety of the slots is amusing and entertaining.

I have a 2007 HP laptop running XP home and a 2002 Sony PC running XP home. This game works fine on the new computer, but not on the older one. I'm not savvy enough to tell you why. It is a great game with great graphics. Reel does a great job with their slot games.
