This DVD/EP it's amazing, All the Videos of J.Lo are amazing, this DVD features all her 17 Music Videos til' now ! From the 1st. J.Lo Video in 1999 "IF YOU HAD MY LOVE" till her latest Video in summer 2003 "BABY I LOVE U!" with Dolby digital 5.1 Sound ,and commentaries about each video with Jennifer Lopez!!

Jennifer Lopez has released The Reel Me, her brand new DVD containing ALL of her music videos! The track-listing runs the gamut from Jennifer's first video, "If You Had My Love," to her latest video, "Baby I Love U!". The Reel Me also features extras including commentary on all the videos from Jennifer herself, plus a bonus EP featuring brand new remixes of "Baby I Love U!" including one by R. Kelly!

THE CD/EP:

The DVD disc is accompanied by an audio-only CD/EP that compiles five excellent remixes of the most popular songs from the latest album "This Is Me... Then", and original album version of "Baby I Love U!", totaling 32'56'' in length. It's also her second remix effort following 2002's "J To Tha L-O!: The Remixes.

The EP includes the R. Kelly remix of the hit "Baby I Love U!" which humorously casts Kelly's thuggish raps about "rollin" with "some fine females" against J-Lo's heart-on-the-sleeve declarations of passion. Also featured is the Seismic Crew Latin Disco Trip mix of "Jenny from the Block", turning what was already an insanely catchy song into an absolutely undeniable, booty-shaking dance-floor romp. Any listener who enjoyed "This Is Me... Then" will certainly want to pick up "The Reel Me", as the tracks here present alternate versions that are often even more fun than the originals.(...)

Even better is the sound, which is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound English! (No subtitles)

In between each video is a brief interview where she discusses the singles and videos. She doesn't reveal much in the way of juicy details, but it's a nice addition to the whole package. (...)

If you are a Jennifer Lopez fan or if you just like her, you have to buy this DVD/CD set! The DVD is one of the most complete 'video collection' DVD's I have ever seen, almost 2 hours of Jlo's music video plus her comentaries of each and every video.

I am Super a fanatic of Jennifer and I should say that it is one of the best materials that has taken out, give of the first song until it finishes it, it hurts that they are not six but, as for the videos all but all are spectacular, the remix but sticky it is that of Baby I Love U! [R. Kelly Mix], undoubtedly all are excellent.

I won't repeat the listing of the videos and songs since you have that but let me clarify; the Music Videos are the COMPLETE videos - - NOT just "clips" as the marketing stick-on says. If I had not already known better, I would not have bought the DVD for "clips" and comments. "Jennifer, hire yourself a better editor to catch these things - Me"

By the way Jennifer's comments are entertaining and the "making of" is great! This DVD will definitely put the eBay DVD-R music video seller out-of-business :-)

Jennifer Lopez es una Latina caliente.

This is an impressive DVD with all J.Lo's music video. I alsi like how they incorporated the interview between each video; it gives a more personal interaction between the viewer and the performer. Also, it's fun to know what the plot of the video is. Jenni knew how to explain every single detail of the videos. I totally love all the videos, but without a DUDA-doubt-my favorite J's video is "Waiting for tonight (which is also Jennifer Lopez favorite album). This is such an impressive video. This CD/DVD has to be in every Jennifer Lopez' ultimate fan.

For this album, I will rate song by song, and I will rate the album as a whole at the end.

~1) Baby I Love U!:This is a good song, but not quite the best in the record. When you first listen to it, it gives a you a feeling that you are back in '60 at a bar an Jennifer Lopez is singing to you. Good song but not that impressive since I do not like old kind of style music: 4/5.
~2)Jenny From the Block: Great remix. Very latino style; it a song good to listen to while drive downtown with your friends. 4.5/5
~3) All I have: The original is better, but for what is worth: it is a pretty-wothry-listenning-to song rather than danceable. 4.5/5
~4) I'm Glad: You may be asking why I gave this album a 5 since all the songs I have rated so far are 4. Well, is the answer: I am glad Jennifer Lopez included this song in the Album. It is a GREAT-IMPRESSIVE-DANCEABLE-ENERGETIC SONG. Paul Oakenfold did a marvelous work remixing this song. I love it. Great song to listen and dance espeacially at a club. *****/***** 5/5

Released in the fall of 2003 with holiday sales in mind, "The Reel Me" gives the consumer a double-dose of Jennifer Lopez. One disc is an EP of club remixes totaling 33 minutes in length (it's also her second remix effort following 2002's "J to tha L-O!"). Quite frankly, there's very little here to get excited about, although the house re-workings of "I'm Glad" and the outrageously hypocritical "Jenny From the Block" are okay enough to prevent me from hitting the "skip" button on my CD player. But the DVD collection of all her videos is where things get interesting, and that's hardly surprising, given that J. Lo has what it takes to be a video artist. She can barely hold a note in a Luis Vuitton bag, but on these videos, she does what she does best: pose, dance, and look fabulous in a variety of killer outfits. From the Hex Hector remix of "Waiting for Tonight" to "Love Don't Cost a Thing" to "All I Have," Lopez proves that she's a true natural in front of the camera. Even better is the sound, which is presented in 5.1 surround audio. In between each video is a brief interview where she discusses the singles and videos. She doesn't reveal much in the way of juicy details, but it's a nice addition to the whole package. To be honest, if "The Reel Me" consisted of solely the DVD, I would have given this at least 4 stars with no hesitation. But we have the inferior remix CD which forces me to dock a star. While casual listeners may want to proceed with some caution, fans of J. Lo will overall be pleased with "The Reel Me."

Great CD/DVD.

1. Baby I Love U! - This is a calm song, with a sweet melody. I liked it, but I didn't love it. Overall an okay song.
2. Jenny From the Block (Dance Remix) - This is an awesome, up-tempo, dance-heavy remix with that familiar Latin guitar in the background. Overall the BEST track on the CD.
3. All I Have (Remix)- Horrible! It had annoying, high-pitched vocals and stuff. Overall the WORST track on the CD.
4. I'm Glad (Paul Okenfield Remix) - I don't like it as much as I used to, but I still love the melody. It's kind of a slow remix, with half the chorus omitted. Overall the 2nd best track on the CD.
5. Baby I Love U! (Remix, w/R.Kelly) I'm surprised that it's shorter than the original. I was expecting it to be longer. Overall an okay remix.

I bought this set @ Target mainly out of curiosity because when J-Lo was really hot in the music industry, I was not paying attention to and therefore missed all of her videos except the first for "If You Had My Love". Overall I'm happy with the purchase - J-Lo is one of those lucky people who got a record deal based on her popularity in another medium, she used Puffy & his connections to release some good dance/pop music. Because she is not a great vocalist, her videos HAD to be creative so that fans and those curious about her would support her music endeavors. That's what I like most about the videos, they are eye-catching & fun!

I'd definitely recommend this set to her hard core fans and also those who, like me, may have missed seeing her videos.

On the cd side, the only song I truly enjoy listening to is the Baby, I Love You (R. Kelly remix)
