The spring-driven series 7000 is very robust and ideal for the most demanding applications. The reel's base and guide arm are formed from high-grade steel and engineered with structural forms and gussets to yield the greatest amount of strength. The 7850 OLP is designed for low pressure air and water and includes 50-Feet of 1/2-Inch I.D. hose and adjustable hose stop.

Heavy-duty brackets eliminate bending due to angular hose pull. Banded drive springs for smooth automatic hose retrieval. Multi-position guide arms permit mounting on wall, floor, ceiling, or truck. Positive latch maintains desired working length of hose. Dual main bearings. Adjustable hose bumpers, nylon guide roller, weather-proof motor. Include 300 psi and 150°F max. hose.

Reelcraft makes the best hose reels I have ever used, they are well made and long lasting (I have two that I have used for 20 years). The 7850 OLP 1/2 inch is the most popular size and length for shop use. At a weight of 52 pounds you will need to fasten to a stud or backing. I prefer the ceiling instalation with 2x12 backing. Unreeling most of the hose makes it lighter to install, and then a tug on the hose and it reels itself up. Requires a two-person install, one to hold it and one to install the fasteners. Pre-drill pilot holes for large lag screws. I recommend using a Parker HF-251-6-FP (automatic) coupling on the end (for those using Industrial Interchange style quick disconnects).
