Good cover when a light frost is expected. Easy to use and if left on the plants does not harm them in any way.

We have a problem with squash bugs in our Pennsylvania garden. By using row covers right after planting we can protect our squash plants from the bugs until the plants get flowers. This interrupts the cycle the bugs use and they don't kill our squash plants before the fruit arrives. At our home in Vermont we use these to protect early plantings from late spring frost and cool weather. We're planning to extend our growing season at both ends by using row covers to keep the soil warm well into October.

I love row cloth. It will protect your new plants from too much sun, insects and critters. It will allow about 85% of the sunlight in and keep new growth protected until it can fend for itself. You will have to watch your watering as sprinklers will not penetrate that much so make sure you water from the roots - tomatoes like water from below anyway! In the blazing hot summer sun out here in Texas, row cloth will protect your plants from frying in these 100+ degree sunny days! Good stuff!

would not plant grass seed or garden without it, great season extender, great for keep vineborers out of squash, useful for protecting lettuce when the temps get high.

I used this to protect grass seed when redoing my approximately 20,000 Sq Ft yard. I used the .5oz frost cloth purchased directly from A.M. Leonard as Amazon did not carry the size I needed at that time (24ft X 250ft). It was able to speed germination, keep birds from eating the seed, help control erosion while roots are starting and best of all no messy straw to deal with! I used rocks on the edges to hold it down. It was reused 4 times on different parts of my yard and than given to a friend who used it in the same way. I highly recommend using this for anyone planting grass seed!

I'd heard about Reemay cloth for years, but this is the first time I've used it. It's protecting my salad greens beds from frosts while letting rain and sunshine get through and not running the risk of heat damage on the occasional day of full sun. It's a good deal on the price too. Just shop around and you'll see. This will be a part of my gardening kit from now on.

I got my Reemay Garden Blanket just in time for the frost, to protect my garden. I was almost too late, but was able to save a majority of the plants. This does work well. Also the size is right for either draping across along a fence, to protect plants alongside it, or to cut into sections to cover only certain plants. The water will not cause frost to form underneath, so the plants will not "stick" to it and get burned.

I have purchased floating row cover several times before. This is not what I have seen sold as floating row cover. Tore the fabric when taking it out of box. I can't believe this will hold up with any sort of ground stake or pin through it. So light I suspect it will lift and blow away in even a light breeze. I will return it in the next few days.
