I recieved my new hitch on time. Problem was the box was what I ordered but the hitch inside of the box was not. Someone had switched hitches to a non slider type. Also some of the parts were missing(rails). I called Amazon and was able to get a credit for recieving the wrong hitch. Being resorceful I was able to use what was sent to me by using the slide portion of my old hitch, everything woked out ok in the end and I got to go on vacation as planned. 5 stars to Amazon for my quick resolution of this problem and getting me my $285.00 credit (the difference between what I orderd and what I got). No stars for the person who swaped out hitches in the box prior to me receiving it.

I ordered a hitch with the install kit. Item arrived on-time, and at the time I ordered, this was the cheapest price on the internet. I had it delivered to my auto mechanic who installed this in the truck for me. The only complaint is that the bolt holding the head to the frame was missing. A quick call to Reese and it arrived the next day in the mail. Very happy with this product.

The slider on the hitch is great when maneuvering the trailer into tight corners. You can easily slide the hitch back away from the cab, allowing for an almost 90 degree turn. With the flip of a bar, the hitch will slide back to the towing position, allowing the weight to sit over your axels when driving down the road.

With steel prices rising, I bought this hitch now although I won't install or use it for several months. The hitch is heavy and the manufacturer's carton may not have been designed with non-palletized shipment in mind. The packaging on mine barely survived.
