Good quality, excellent welds and strength. And, easy to install (mostly). This install was on a 2005 Ford E450 Class C motorhome.

Remove two plastic push-rivets holding forward lower plastic splash shield (this is located directly behind front bumper).
Using a 1/2" drill, enlarge the forward most bottom hole on each frame rail (this is the hole that is approx. 5/16" diameter and located about 1.5" aft of lower bumper lip.

There are two flanged nuts holding bumper onto each frame rail. Remove the bottom one and then screw it back on about two turns. Remove top nuts - one each side and push top of bumper forward (lower nuts being loose will allow bumper to pivot yet hold it in place.

Install steel backing plate (they have square hole) through oblong slotted hole on bottom of frame rail. Push this backing plate forward until square hole is centered on holes you enlarged. Now insert one of the fishing wires, coiled end first, through the frame rail, backing plate, and forward out the gap exposed by the loose bumper - - you'll see the coil end emerge behind the bumper. Don't let the end of the spring wire go up the hole! Screw a 1/2" stove bolt into the spring coil at the end of the fish wire. Pull the bottom end of the fish wire while feeding the bolt into the gap. Continue to pull the fish wire out the bottom hole gently and the bolt will drop into position. Unscrew fish wire coil from bolt and repeat with second bolt at oblong hole.

Repeat above steps on other frame rail. Support one end of hitch while raising other end and slip onto bolt ends. install washer and nut on each bolt and run nut on almost all the way (leave loose though). Repeat on other end. Tighten all bolts per instructions included. Ta-da.

If you've never had a front hitch, it's more useful than for just hauling a bike rack. You can precisely position and move trailers, launch boats, etc.

It lined up for a perfect fit after enlarging two chassis holes. This is disclosed up front and was not a problem with a drill and a 1/2" drill bit. Then the problem. The bracket bolts do not fit through the chassis frame access holes. Instruction to insert the bolts using the provided guide wire proved futile. Ultimately I removed the four bumper bolts after purchasing a 21mm socket - no big deal. Installation of the brackets and bolts was then a snap as was reinstalling the bumper. If the bolts provided had gone through the access holes as described this item would receive a 5.

Just FYI the "make sure it fits you vehicle box" said it would fit a 2006 Ford Expedition XLT, however it does not. The mounting plates on the hitch are about 4 inches wider than the frame of the SUV.
