the new, long awaited book from the Blakeney sisters of Compai, is finally here. The selections are stunning and doable. Not only does it offer new bags to make from old junk we have around the house and can't bear to part with---bags for every occassion, but also offers a stimulus to each of us to find new ways to transform whatever...into exquisite, funky, fun, and/or unique trendy trademarks. Many varieties from easy-for-amatuers to challenging and worth it. kudos.

This book is so full of good ideas for creative reuse.
I love the tote made from a designer towel and, of course the zipper purse. There is an adorable clutch made from curtain fabric and just a lot of great ideas to go off on my own and create my own designs employing ideas from this book. I love the collage-like how-to illustrations and the instructions are detailed and clear. The designs are all very fashion forward-- nothing boring here, so if you're into more plain designs, this book may not be for you. All in all, I love it!

This book is outstanding...the instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the ideas so clever and unusual..bound to get compliments and inquiries as to where did you buy that wonderful bag. I am a fan of the Blakeney girls, and have all of their books. They keep coming up with new and exciting ways to protect our planet..My kudos to you girls for another fabulous book. I can't wait to make the sweater computer bag...what a great idea. bette f

I really enjoyed the designs and the techniques presented in this book. There are projects ranging from easy to difficult with easy to get your hands on recycled stuff. It even suggests mix and match of materials and techniques presented to make it more suited to what you have on hand. Great idea and good execution.

This is - by far - the best bag making book of the year. Innovative designs using leveraged materials - woo hooo! A must have for purse crafters.

I purchased this book as a birthday present for my 16 year old niece in July, and she loved it! The instructions are well laid out and easy to follow with great pictures of each finished bag. Considering she had not used a sewing machine much and she has already completed two bags and on to her third, I'd say the success of the book speaks for itself. I would highly recommend this book, it is filled with some very clever ideas and unique designs using a variety of recycled materials, including jeans, jumpers, and even a tuxedo!

this book is easy to read. I like all the different ideas that you can do to refashion clothes, and make something else out of old clothes. I love using the zippers. Instructions are very clear. Phyllis Dayle

I am so incredibly impressed with the new REFASHIONED BAGS BOOK by the Blakeney Sisters! The books keep getting better and better... It is so much fun to get together with girlfriends and have something fun to create like BAGS! I mean, what girl doesn't want to make cute bags with her girlfriends???? I am getting one for all of my girlfriends as stocking stuffers for the holidays! It is such a unique gift and I am having so much fun with my book! I Can't wait for fireplaces, hot cocoa, good company, and beautiful bag creations!!!!
