This watch is perfect for soccer and maybe some other sports too. True story: Last night I refereed a game that had a injury delay late in the second period. I started the count up timer and then when everything was reset stopped it. One team broke the 1:1 tie with literally 1 second left in extra time. How did I know? Because of this nice little watch. The goal, the beep, the whistle all in bang-bang sequence. I have never has such an exciting finish and been so sure that I got the extra time right.

Very cool watch for FIFA/USSF style refereeing. I like the injury time stop watch feature in addition to the game clock. Very easy to use. However my first one worked for about two weeks and then stopped. I got a new battery and it still didn't work. I sent it back to the factory and within two weeks they sent me a new one with no questions asked. The new one has worked fine. I bought another one for my son also. I would not have trouble recommending this to someone.

I purchased two of these watches from Amazon so I would have one for a backup. One of the watches died within 2 weeks so I replaced the batteries in both watches just in case. The second watch failed again within 24 hours and I'm returning it (I did order a replacement). So if a 50% failure rate doesn't make you nervous....

The watch is adequate for what it is, a soccer referee watch. As others have noted, changing the game half-time duration is a pain, if you are looking to change from a 30min half to 25 min half, you've got to scroll up through 99 min before getting to 20min.

The chime is pretty quiet, which is good so that the players and fans don't hear, but it is easy to miss. It would be great if the watch vibrated, and it were easier to change game times. This watch isn't fancy, and isn't one you'd wear day to day. Build quality seems fair but no better.

I love this watch...I have used it for ref'ing for the last 3 years. I tried to order 2 more for my kids who are starting to ref this year and the shipment was short one and the one they sent was broken (or just dead battery). Either way...the vendor receives a poor rating, but the product receives a high rating. :)

This is the first and only referee watch I've purchased and used (full disclosure). I have found that it works extremely well as a count-down and as a count-up timer. Since I do mostly youth games, I haven't had much cause to use the stoppage timer, but I've tested it and I like how it works. My only gripe is that there is no way to disable the beep alerts that sound when time is almost out, when time expires, and when stoppage time runs out. I find that everyone else near me (players, coaches, parents) can hear my watch beeping, and they aren't afraid to let me know about it (quite irritating)! I don't understand why there are two backlight buttons with identical functionality; surely someone could have added another cool feature on that extra button? Perhaps a toggle function for the beep?

Whwn i opened my watch, there was no battery, so i went and had one put in it and the beeping sound was really faint. Within several hours, the watch was dead again. I returned it within the next 2 days.
